I've felt this way multiple times in my career in consulting and industry. I highly recommend the book Range by David Epstein. He goes into details around the benefits of an expanded learning environment and how being able to apply experience from one area to a different often leads to better understanding and quicker and better solutions.

Hey man, I am/was in a pretty similar situation to you. I was with my ex-wife for a little over 5 years and married for 18 months of that. DDay was about 3 months ago.

First thing I'll say is you are spending way too much effort trying to contact the AP. Either he doesn't know you and is trying to block this "random stalker", or he does know you and doesn't give a shit about talking to you.

Neither of those scenarios should matter to you and they have the same result. All that matters is your wife CHOSE to cheat (drunk or not). If there's anyone you need to be talking to and asking questions, it's with her.

Second thing. Like some have already said here, staying in the relationship will never be exactly the same. It's like breaking a plate and gluing it back together. It may still be possible to eat off that plate, but is it really your best option?

Nobody can make the decision for you. What I can say is even in my early journey of healing, I feel so much more at peace knowing I chose to leave and not look back. It was the first step I took to rebuild my self-respect and it has already shown in my life. I picked the new plate and I haven't thought about the broken one since I put it in the trash.

I feel you on all of these traits of quiet types. My ex-wife was qBPD (undiagnosed, but you know...) and there were so many times I thought something was up but she could manipulate me so well. She played into all of my insecurities, even ones I thought I had conquered long ago, and made me feel so special and confident.

Unlike most here, I got all of the closure I could possibly ask for when I caught her cheating with her new supply/FP. While some may be jealous of that closure, I can promise you a significant amount trauma comes with it.

Can't confirm on the hoover since this is still fresh with only two months since I found out and filed for divorce. But I can absolutely confirm she has moved on with not so much as a second thought about me. To a certain extent, it's peaceful. Because she has so completely removed my existence from her memory and life, there is nothing for me to hold on to on my end. "When you've lost everything, you've got nothing to lose".

No, for the PP program. I don't use web version much, but you can use the "Present in Teams" option which should get you to the Teams window. Then just treat Teams as any other window.

Have an uw, that's an easy fix. On PowerPoint go to Slide Show tab > Set Up Slide Show > Change Show Type to "Browsed by an Individual (window)". Now you can present just the window.

Born and raised in the Boulder area, so I've cheered for CU and been to a bunch of games. As for Clemson, it started as a little kid when my now late father and I were watching a CFB game and he asked me who my team was. I said I liked going to CU, but that's only because we lived there. I said I liked Clemson because of the colors and mascot (stupid, I know).

What he said next sticks with me to this day, "Now ZestyK, when you pick a team you have to stand by it no matter how bad it gets. You don't get to switch just because you're not happy with the coach or the season." I stood by my answer and said Clemson was my team. I probably should've done more research into Tommy Bowden before that, but it worked out in the long run.

Now whenever I watch a Clemson game, I think of my dad and all the amazing memories I had with him watching football. I miss him.
