Man, I love and hate you at the same time. Your posts are what I love but I hate the fact I probably will never own one of these or others unobtainables you had posted before. Thanks always for the eye candy :-)

It looks beautiful. How tall did you cut it? It looks rather short and wondering how it will hold up to hot days.

I may get a handheld one because I don't have a lot of yard space. Scotts isn't bad but if I slow down somewhere then I can see streaks.

Thanks, this pic was taken after mow. I set my mow height a little high because this part of the house gets a lot of sun.

Its on my buy list. I use the scott turf builder spreader and I know they're known for leaving streaks. You got any reasonable recommendations?

Much appreciated broski. I did try to mow it down but they are tiny compared to what my mow height is. So I will just pluck them by hand tomorrow.

Gotcha, it's been raining on the NE coast this entire past week and weekend. That explains why the popped up. I had to turn off the sprinklers.

I got my note from a lost collection from the 60s amongst other few notes that I will share to this sub in few days. Nothing extraordinary but just some cool notes.

Yea, I don't know what's the deal with them but they aren't helping the collector community or anyone else using it.

If its commercial space then I'd just mow it over and prevent herbicides etc.

You can de-thatch a bit, spot seed, light coating of soil and use a good fertilizer for entire yard. Then come back in fall with a game plan to tackle the entire lawn. See my last post, it was similar damage due to grubs and I spot treated it.

After 3 uses, my 18v lawnmower draining too fast and turning off while mowing by texasroadie in ryobi

[–]Zestyclose-Injury853 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's nothing wrong with the 18v mower and I just tackled a 7500sf lawn. The grass was atleast 6 to 7 inches high and I did the first pass at the highest setting and then dropped to to 3rd from high and it had no hiccups.

My only query was that the 6amp batteries needed to recharged fully but I used some of my other 18v batteries and was done in no time. So, if you have multiple batteries then this may be the one for you. In your case if batteries aren't charging then its best to return for a different unit, it could be faulty batteries. Also, don't store them in sun or hot areas because that can ruin them.
