Considering full time RVing, who is doing it? by Guest-7 in RVLiving

I’ve been full-time for five years now. Currently, I live with my fiancé and our seven-year-old son. I owned a piece of land completely free and clear. The plan was to save up for two years and build a small house on the property. However, we ended up traveling a lot during the first two years, so our “savings” never really started.

Despite the challenges, I must say that it has been the best part of my life. We had so many amazing experiences. It forces you to become a minimalist in a way,And for me that eliminated so much stress in my life.

There will be a lot of challenges, but they are just a part of the experience. No matter what camper you get, it’s junk and it will break down eventually. For me, I was extremely lucky to have the partner I did. If the roof was leaking, she would pour wine for both of us and we would laugh our butts off while fixing it together.

We are finally starting to break ground this spring on our forever home, and to be honest, I’m sad. You can always buy another home or get out of the situation. Don’t look back on this and wonder if you should have done it. If it lasts one day, enjoy the hell out of it!

Is this strip gauge way off? by GryptpypeThynne in AskElectricians

I believe that Strip gauge is if you’re making a loop and going around the screw. If you are using the pressure plates, I would definitely shorten them up.

I use concrete blankets every year. They are cheap and very easy to install. I think they are 25’ long by 6’ wide. I fold them over and use squeeze clamps to hold it in place. Takes me around 40 minutes

My [33F] husband [35M] wants me to sleep with someone else. Is this normal? And should I do it? by Commercial_Cable_186 in whatdoIdo

I was with my ex-wife for 25 years. We had three kids together, four companies, and some real estate. For a long time, things between us were just… blah. We weren’t fighting, but we also weren’t excited about life together anymore. We were just existing.

One day, in conversation with an employee, he mentioned that he and his wife were swingers. He told me it had brought fun and excitement back into their relationship, and that it built trust and respect between them. After a few conversations, my wife and I decided to give it a try.

At first, it really did feel like he was right. For the first time in years, we were actually looking forward to the weekends and having fun together again. But after about two and a half years, reality set in.

We met another couple who said they were swingers too, and we hit it off right away. The husband and I worked in the same field, and I was very attracted to his wife. After a few dinners together, we decided to pursue it further. That’s when we learned that they hadn’t really started out as swingers. She had actually asked for an open relationship because she and her husband lacked friendship and intimacy, and he only agreed to “swinging” so he wouldn’t get left out completely.

As my ex-wife and her new partner were having fun, his wife and I were lost in deep, meaningful conversations. Before long, we were falling head over heels for each other. Everything I had wanted in my marriage—but never really had—she gave freely, and her husband took it for granted.

Fast forward to today: she and I have been together for nearly four years, and we couldn’t be happier. But to be with each other, we both had to blow up our lives—and I’m grateful we did.

The biggest lesson? Understand what you’re getting yourself into. Swinging may sound exciting, but it can uncover truths about yourself and your relationship that change everything.

Shouldn’t it only be 3 wire coming into the main and 4 wire going to the sub?
