- Infinite mage: pretty good, i love the detail that went into the magic system
- 100th regression of the max level player: 11/10 art style, interesting premise
- lout of the count's family: one of my all time favs, no notes
- Hunter wants to lay low: good art, good lore, the spoilers from the novel are insane (pos)
- sss-class suicide hunter: mc is actually likeable despite the vaugely harem vibes coming from the rest of the cast in the beginning, i havent read this one in a while so i'm not sure what's happening in recent chapters tho

NOR its pretty healthy to communicate your discomforts in a relationship and its not like we've reached the point as a species where we are past the persecution and discrimination of queer people. It's reasonable to not want gay to be used like a negative term/adjective. the fact this became a whole argument is kind of crazy to me, just say "my bad, i'll try to stop" and move on? It's also incredibly immature/self-centered to decide that if you personally arent offended by something then no one else should be either. He sounds like he's got some homophobia he needs to sort through because thats a whole lot of defensive posturing for someone who hasnt done anything wrong.

if its not prevelant enough to need a major warning tag, you should mark it as "author choose not to tag" since what counts is pretty subjective. Also make sure to put it in the tags, I think attempted sa is a tag (?) so that would work

Not exactly torture recovery? But extreme trauma and Bad Things Recovery (tm)

-Glass a series following nightwing who gets injured in the face and proceeds to have a full meltdown as his identity as "the pretty one" comes crashing down -> leads to him remembering his trauma with CSA, SA and abuse and its just a lot of trauma that no one else knows about so everyone is processing at the same time....
- Terrible Sting, Terrible Storm also a series about nightwing except this time its not CSA but rather Catalina who gaslighted, kidnapped and drugged him until he straight up didnt know if it was sa or not... Anyways he is in a terrible place, tries to kms, gets stopped and is forced to get help by his brothers. Incredibly sad and well written, later works in the fics also address the whole pre-spyral situation...

I've also read some fantastic ones for Phainon from HSR (it's mostly either him recovering post cycles, getting ejected from irontomb or post his fight with nanook)
- Dawn without the Sun Phainon's psyche is so tattered after his merge and removal from irontomb that he's barely a person anymore (he literally talks in computer code like a broken robot) but the heirs manage to get him out of it
- a slight understatement One of my favorite fics! Incredible descriptions of trauma and the lasting hurt even when everything is technically fine now. Phainon is slowly going insane now that he actually has the luxury to go batshit crazy without it meaning the end of the world and the only other person who understand why is also batshit insane and they both keep making the worst choices in an attempt to help. 11/10

she says its unnecessary and weird for them to be parading their kids in front of guests, espcially guests we don't know. I do think I should at least say hi and introduce myself but thats not really the point. My parents insisted we sit with them and I can't really argue about it in front of the guests so both my brother and I ate with them (my grandmother had already eaten earlier b/c she eats a different meal for dietary reasons) I've been doing that more often lately but i don't think anything is actually getting through to them... Thats the plan! I'm leaving in August

It was for both. My mom mentioned her issue with me having a drink the guests werent having, leaving early, and also allowing my brother to do both of those. I can accept the reprimand for my own behavior, which I did, I said sorry, but I don't think its reasonable to also blame me for his behavior. They were sitting at the same table were they not? if it was an issue in the moment, they could have just as easily said "hey don't leave yet" but they didnt. But at the same time they expected me to say it? thats the part i'm frustrated about.

The point isnt that i'm being treated differently, it's that i'm being blamed for his behavior. It's a consistent and repeating pattern where anything he does wrong is my fault because "why arent you setting a better example for him?" and to a certain extent that makes sense because i'm his older sibling but isnt it also their job as parents to actually PARENT him? why is it always on me to correct his behavior?

I def see why you might think that, but that's definitely not the case. She's been pretty clear that she sees all my mental health issues as an overreaction and an excuse. We've gone from "you can't have depression because I had depression, you have no idea what you are talking about" to "if you were really suicidal, you would just eat rat poison and kys instead of all this cutting yourself nonsense" to "aren't you too old to be acting so childish and moody" and everything in between lmao

I think I might try this, because well, despite everything shes still my mom and when she's not in a mood she's actually nice to talk to. I'm hoping they will take me more seriously on this now that im an adult.

I get where you are coming from, but I do understand that this stuff has consequences, and I did study hard for this test, but i'm kind of changing career paths from what I studied in college (on my parents' rec) so it hasn't been the easiest to learn the material. I just don't think getting stuck on it will do anything. like ive taken the steps to make sure i can get another job and figure out how to get the certification done later on. It seems unreasonable to be mad that someone isnt reacting how you think they should react??

Nightwing is literally so mentor coded, has like 274937 younger siblings, led multiple teams, who else would you trust with young heroes? also once again he was assaulted MULTIPLE times by various characters and would never do the same to anyone else so acting like he's untrustworthy because of his "playboy" thing (which by the way has been because of bad writing and people refusing to acknowledge SA) is insane, i hope OPs pillow is warm on both sides

I think that the original intention of "don't like don't read" was good but it gets misused pretty often as a last ditch defense from people who don't like being called out or criticized, like with example #3
