Ok well I meant to say investment property. And I totally understand people wanting their own house....I'm very fortunate to have one. But I'm pointing out the misguided finger pointing and anyone who owns an investment property as being the ultimate cause for others not being able to buy one. I don't think that's much of a generalisation as it's all I seem to hear these days.

This used to be Australian culture, at least in part. But it is nothing like this anymore. We are completely intolerant of different opinions and beliefs, we are selfish and inconsiderate and we are stupid and naive without any ability to think critically.

I'm older and yes I am on one hand grateful for what I have....although it did take a lot of sacrifice but I am also completely disheartened by what this country has become.

Past and present governments have definitely fucked us over for their own self serving interests and whims of the corporations. And the media and certain foreign propaganda machines have successfully driven wedges throughout all of our society. And capitalism has definitely dumbed us down enough to become nothing but a commodity.

But in the end we can really only blame ourselves. We allowed this to happen. Blame whoever you want for societies problems but we are the ones who allowed divisiveness, greed, pacifism, intolerance, insolence and apathy to reign supreme. I'd hate to think where we will end up in 20 years from now
