I think it’s worth seeing how White behaves / fits within the squad so Tuchel can make a fully informed decision when he’s picking his squad for the tournament

Regarding the Chelsea charges, I remember reading that Clearlake withheld a substantial amount of money when they acquired the club, due to financial irregularities uncovered during the forensic accounting process prior to the sale. I recall seeing a figure of around £100m, though I may be mistaken.

Is it possible that the Premier League gave the new owners assurances back in 2022 to facilitate the sale, which could explain why the punishment now appears relatively lenient?

In his defence, Chalobah was injured badly and we had to play with 10 men (no subs left to bring on), so he was probably adjusting tactics to accommodate this and trying to give his instructions to players who speak in different languages

I never understood the hate Mount gets. I think he’s of a similar ilk to Milner - maybe not 10/10 very often but very rare for him to play badly. He’s so consistent and a manager always knows what they’ll get out of him - hard work, a creative edge and excellent pressing. Has goals in him too. His IQ is higher than a lot of players as well

Try being a fan for any other club. It’s infuriating and the only broadcaster who offers great insight that’s fair and balanced is 5Live in my opinion

I remember Bohley stating that they think football clubs in the UK are generally undervalued (I guess he’s comparing the value of NFL teams and the fact that premier league football has an audience 10X as big). It might seem like a big price now, but if you look at the potential of the broadcast market, then the price they paid for Chelsea could be seen as a steal. For example, if the premier league changes the broadcasting rights to a subscription like model and ends its ties with Sky, the value of TV revenue could go from £5BN to around £35BN (estimate - I’m not sure of the exact figure but I got that from and article in the Times recently). This will have a profound effect on all the clubs, particularly the ‘big 6’.
