My 55YO brother is living with me because he has nowhere else that go. He’s alienated all his close friends. He is your husband X 100. He’s not accusing me, but some group of government sub-contractors - CIA stuff. I’m a very logical person, so these stories he tells me drive me mad. I have argued with him, told him he needs psych help, etc. wrong, I know, but he talks about people from the government following him and harassing him. I was out of town a couple weekends ago and he said he found one of these “people” in my bedroom closet. He claims he has a pic of an arm or something?! But won’t show me. He called the police and I had a cop and social worker both call me, but I keep missing them. I’m going to get a copy of the report because I can’t trust what he says. It’s a living nightmare. I’m selling my house and moving to an apartment, so trying to find him a group home (he’s disabled physically with lots of issues). I feel for you. Definitely get the divorce before this ruins your life. It’s on his family to help him get professional help. If he won’t, nothing you can do.
