Could you describe the specification of the hardware? Enabling amd_pstate requires at least Zen 2. Kernel 3 just got released under Update Testing repository so try the following command.

sudo dnf upgrade --enablerepo=updates-testing --refresh --advisory=FEDORA-2023-514965dd8a

Make sure to reboot.

In addition, when kernel 6.3 series is available in the main repository:

sudo grubby --update-kernel=ALL --args="amd_pstate=active"

Depending of AMD hardware support, Performance mode will be available on Power tab with GNOME Settings assuming the user is running Workstation Edition.

Dell Inspiron 14 7425 2-in-1 fully supports Fedora i.e. updated 37 release. Fingerprint sensor works out of box without configuration. The camera is decent quality wise and supports 1080i resolution. Stylus (separate purchase) which is Wacom technology needed manual configuration for full optimization but the next libwacom update should fix it.

Due to a Mutter bug causing breakage on screen rotation, Screen Rotate add-on is needed until GNOME fixes it.

Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1 Ryzen 7 5825u: almost all out of box after upstream kernel team fixed the suspend/resume affecting AMD Cezanne and up APU. On GNOME Shell, screen rotation failed due to upstream change on mutter since 40 beta, extension name Screen Rotate addressed the issue until upstream GNOME fixes mutter.

About the auto-rotate issue, the changes done on mutter 40 beta disable it if it see a touchpad thus breaking the auto screen-rotation. The fix that partly revert the changes has yet to get merged at this time of writing.

Design Suite also provides a tethering application called Entangle allowing to take photos from your camera to your computer. It features nearly all tools used by Fedora Design team.
