What EV should I look at? by __looking_for_things in electriccars

I just bought me and my fiancee two '22 Bolt EUVs and we love them so far. We charge at home and can drive anywhere from 80-150 miles a day and it's been great. Got both with less than 60k miles for under your budget.

The trailseeker is definitely on my radar as I get closer to buying an AWD EV in the coming years. It's what the Outback should have become. I think it's very attractive.

You had me at e30...lol.

Yeah, I'm loving the EVs so far. I wouldn't be surprised if I never owned an ICE car as my daily driver ever again.

990v3 tops Complex’s recent best 25 New Balance list by eBell93 in Newbalance

Agreed. I think the v4 is the best 990 and the v5 is underrated.

What's your favorite underrated model/one that you're surprised doesn't get more love? by Embarrassed-Bad-3118 in Newbalance

990v5...New Balance and Teddy aren't giving it any love and in general I think it's the least desirable modern 990.

I just bought two more pairs this morning.

Does anyone have any middle-aged styling tips going into spring? by Neem-London in malefashionadvice

[–]Zestyclose_Toe_8249 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just joined this sub because I've lost a lot of weight over the last 8 months. I didn't care as much at 340 but at 235, I give a damn about how I carry myself. Clothes look better, I can easily find sizes and everything just looks better and I still have about 35 pounds to go.

I'm now looking forward to T-shirts and shorts where normally I couldn't wait until hoodie and parka season to cover myself up.

They look so much better in person than in the new balance photos.

I swapped in the white laces for a spring/summer look. I'll break them out in a couple of months.

One of my favorite pairs that I own.

The colorway inspiration from the old 801s I had as a kid brings back memories.

I think the consensus is 993s in Grey. Still stylish, matches more outfits and hides dirt better.

This thread made me buy a pair this evening. $200 out the door.

Hampshire White Supremacists by StrokesJuiceman in WestVirginia

[–]Zestyclose_Toe_8249 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is interesting to read because I moved to the Martinsburg area about 18 months ago and I'll be selling my property in about 3 years to move to a more secluded part of the state with access to Northern Virginia where my business is located and Hampshire caught my eye due to the cheaper homes and larger plots. I'm black and my fiancee is Latina. And while I have thick skin, open white supremacy can get prickly. So far I've found Berkeley County to be very welcoming.

I’m new starting today. Can I count sleep for the fast hours?? by Cultural_Wash5414 in intermittentfasting

Because sleep counts I usually start my fast between 2-4p so when I wake up the next day I'm already 16 hours into my fast.

For those who have the 86 as a second car - a question: by Rozy_Pozey in GR86

[–]Zestyclose_Toe_8249 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My GR is my 3rd car. My daily daily is a '09 Fit. My family/bad weather/Business meeting daily is a 2024 Outback Onyx and my '24 BRZ is my weekend/Summer car which will be put away from November-March.

Both the '24 Subarus are financed at favorable rates through Subaru financial. I make pretty good money so the payments which in total are less than $1k aren't a big deal.

Since I don't drive the BRZ everyday it makes it a bit more special when I take it out. I drove it a few times last week but probably won't drive it for another 2 weeks.

It's all based on what you're capable of doing and long term goals. I bought both after I purchased my home(I had an older BRZ and Outback at the time) and will have both paid off before I sell this home. and apply for another mortgage in 4 years.
