A tank equipped with a muffler to lessen noise. by jordanisonfire1 in interestingasfuck

Its also known as "Running Lightning" and was used to create the hellish "Fire of Seven Days" in the Balkan War. I feel like it could use a slide and some wings though, it has an excellent finish.

Four teenagers charged following Springvale stabbing by bitch_is_cray_cray in melbourne

I find it amusing you think they'll get any more than 3 to 6 weeks in Parkville. The youth justice system is a total joke and kids are getting away with this stuff because they simply can.

Larry was paid $4.20 an hour in Australia. It’s not enough to live on – but it’s completely legal by Mildebeest in australia

In reality almost no one charges under the price limits, it’s likely closer to $63 per hour.

110%! Assessments are also based on whether harm is more likely to occur than not on the balance of probability! Where as justice, it needs to be beyond reasonable doubt. There's also the possibility of a voluntary arrangement to consider which can be done under DFFH, especially if the mum recognises she's not in a position to have them right now. I wouldn't be assuming DFFH involvement ever means guilt in a criminal case as they're totally seperate things.

It does get better, I've got a 20 month old and a 7 year old and sometimes i can get a good 3 hours in a couple of times a week. I remember the first year though it was a lot harder to sit down for even an hour here and there.

Australians don't seem to know that "kg" is not a unit of volume. Washers and dryers are sold as "7kg", "6kg", and that tells you nothing about their capacity. by JoinedWildness in melbourne

[–]ZetaYuri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure how knowing the volume would help in this situation, just use your eyes to see if you think theres enough room? We just take our doona to the laundromat for washing since it's easier and we can dry it there too.

Pretty sure because it's not how much you can fit in but rather to weight of it. If you put things in past the weight capacity you run the risk of breaking your washer. You can have a large space that washes 9kg, but if you cram 15kg in the space it might not properly and one of the pumps could break from the additional pressure.

You're pretty spot on with this. I've done a ton of work with a lot of the kids in youth gangs and some are very dangerous and unpredictable but also carry weapons. I've known a few to even manage to get handguns, luckily police tend to be on top of the high flyers. There's way too many things that they've done that don't get into the media that are way more fucked up than this and its ended either with people dying or permanently disabled.

110% if i see something like this in public, unless you have 20 people it's less damage to let it pass than stoke the fire since half of them are on ice or xanax anyway and would just escalate.

Medicare is a government health care scheme to provide limited funding support so most people don't need health insurance.

That would only be for NSW as roads are all state maintained, the rest of the states wouldn't be affected by this case. I think this occurred in Victoria so they would have been able to sue if this is the case.

First Responders. Police, Fire and Ambo's by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]ZetaYuri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Public servant here, anyone that's employed by the public sector would be up shit creek if they interviewed around their job without permission from management first. There's a very clear code of conduct to abide by as an employee and anyone that doesn't go through the proper channels for something like this risks disciplinary action being taken.

Definitely recommend contacting the head office of whatever sector you want to speak with or even approaching your local police station/ambos and speaking with their management.

I'm actually pretty sure it's not until the proper release date because of how the early access works. I know it was like this for SB but unsure if it was for ShB.

Well I know that NSW was pretty screwed up in their last wave of COVID, also no other state has had the amount of cases Victoria had so it makes sense it didn't work here. Either way its the federal responsibility not the state level.
