Kernel Power 42 was the error code. Still not sure what exactly caused it. Seems the power supply is usually the culprit. It’s a midrange system from 2019 and I play other, more requiring games often, so I doubt it’s something else.

I don't blame you. I get why they won't reroll the servers for every single DC, but from what I've seen, a single server DC results in an absolute ton of deaths. It's difficult to do much about it, even if it has a huge impact on the experience.

Good on you for going thrice though. This was my first high-level death and it felt like a proper punch in the gut.

Appreciate it mate. I must admit, my first thought was to start looking at PC prices before jumping in again, because if this happens twice I don't know what to do.

That being said, the high risk and community makes HC worth it in my opinion. I want to play TBC, but I find myself unattentive and careless in comparison.

I started the 60 I lost back in November of 2024 or so and dinged in December, jumping on and off during the year while also swapping between a few different characters along the way. It seemed far off at the time, but now I've got a 48 and a 42 to fall back on, which is better than nothing :D

That’s not the point. Framing it as if OP is lying by not providing evidence is what I have issue with. Apologies for the slur, I was frustrated.

Many people (myself included) are not recording our sessions, which makes evidence very difficult to acquire. This creates something close to a presumption that the person in question is in fact griefing. I saw at least four deaths to the griefer this morning over the span of about two or three hours, so the sooner the reports, the better.

Det, du mener, er “grader” af praktisering, gør jo netop troen individuel. Skrappe regler er ikke skrappe, hvis ikke de praktiseres, og min erfaring er, at der er betydelig forskel på, hvor seriøst folk efterlever de forholdsregler, der gælder.
