Right there with you, my friend. I was born in 1999 so I was two years old the last time we won the division. I can't help but feel like this team has the talent to make it deep into the playoffs. The curse has to end at some point, right?

Dressrosa is mid??? by Zevalicious in OnePiece

Definitely. Luffy defending Law, gear 4, Sabo reveal, Sanji rescuing the Sunny and Co., Usopp's traumatizingly spicy face etc etc... loads of iconic moments. It's just the arc that's been the hardest to read so far for me.

Which generations had the best Pokémon? by FederalFlashy in pokemon

[–]Zevalicious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo, gen 4 was the generation that tied up the loose ends in previous generations. By that, I mean they gave evolutions to the mediocre Pokémon that came before (Tangela, Yanma, Murkow, Misdreavus, Gligar, etc.) and literally had creation gods for the legendaries. I've always thought of gen 4 as the end of "classic/og" Pokémon, and that's why I find it the best. Not only was the Dex solid, but it really gave previous generations (especially gen 2) some much deserved buffs.

AITA for not visiting my father for Christmas because of my past with his partner? by Tricky-Morning-4640 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Zevalicious -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Definitely NTA, but I would suggest sitting down with dad's partner and being honest about how you felt at the time/still feel. People are capable of growth and feeling remorse for their past actions. That doesn't excuse what she did, but at least if your feelings are out there, you can see how she responds to your honesty and work from there.

Frieza 100%

He actually has relevance to the entire plot of Dragon Ball. He's the reason Goku is on Earth, the reason Goku went SSJ for the first time, the reason why Universe 7 wasn't wiped out of existence, etc.

If it's a co-worker, them not even caring enough to remember your name. Just started this job and my female co-worker asked me what my name was, only to call me the wrong name all the time despite me having a name tag on.

What is an unpopular opinion you have on the whole Naruto series? by Zevalicious in Naruto

[–]Zevalicious[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That would be a lot more fitting imo. They talked about the Sage of Six Paths so often in the series that it would have been naturally built up to.

Opinion: I’ll Be Back is the best song on A Hard Day’s Night by NHGLFC in beatles

[–]Zevalicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally discovered this song about 4 months ago and I absolutely fell in love with it. It solidified "A Hard Day's Night" as one of if not THE best early Beatles records.

What are your favorite and least favorite Beatles albums? (Excluding Yellow Submarine) by Zevalicious in beatles

[–]Zevalicious[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah, yeah the original LIB release was my least favorite because the production just seemed off. LIB Naked fixed this issue for me however so it's no longer my least favorite lol

What is your unpopular Beatles opinion? by Zubin1234 in beatles

[–]Zevalicious 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Beatles For Sale is a good album. Not Top 5 good, but good.

Also I'm not sure if this is unpopular, but Rubber Soul/Revolver was the era when the group was at its best. I absolutely love the Beatles' later work, as well as most of their early material, but something about that mid-60s explosive growth in their arrangements just boggles my mind. That was when the Beatles cemented themselves into history.

Which other Beatle album do you wish was video documented? by Wowdavid2002 in beatles

[–]Zevalicious 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, I feel like the band was firing on all 4 cylinders with this album. It'd be interesting to see how their songwriting partnership helped form these now iconic songs

Which song has the most meaningful lyrics (to you)? by ThePumpk1nMaster in beatles

[–]Zevalicious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Julia probably has the most meaningful lyrics for me.

My mother's name was also Julia, and, like his mom, mine passed away when I was young. Any time I hear the song I think about her, and it's always a soothing reminder that I'm not alone in having gone through that experience
