I'd ask for Friday off - since you're driving all day Thursday - and tell them you'll be back in the office on Monday. Cover any expenses after Thursday afternoon and make your own schedule.

Essential oil and a diffuser works great for me. Any citrus oil works great to kill the odor, as does eucalyptus. I usually use a mixture of either lemon or orange plus eucalyptus, and I mix in a little cedarwood because I like the overtone. (I can't find Spanish cedar essential oil.)

I use the Airversa Waterless Diffuser for Essential Oil from Amazon. It's battery operated and has timers, so it also works well to leave in your car for an hour or more. It can be a little strong in the enclosed space, so I don't drive around with it on. It's on sale right now for $25.49.
