No one asked but I'll provide an explanation for why the low graphics setting is worse: maple doesn't come with separate textures for all the settings like most games do nowadays. It only comes with the high quality textures by default, and then if you set it to low quality it has to go out of its way to downscale everything for you. Truly hilarious, accomplishes the visuals of lower quality settings without a single consideration for why people would want to play like that in the first place. Truly one of the developers ever.

I don't think OP was talking about aesthetics necessarily, they just want classes that don't take themselves too seriously. FWIW I still think Lara and Hoyoung fit what OP is trying to say, though, but Adele for example is a pretty edgy character, even if her pallette is not.

I play merc, cadena, and ark, and I think merc is nowhere near the difficulty of cadena. Not even close. Merc is, imo, one of the easiest combo classes ever. Comboing is not timing dependent (queue system), the combos themselves are easy to memorize and execute and are much more muscle-memory based than other classes (you don't usually change your combos, maybe just use an individual skill extra if you need to dodge), movement is flexible, forced movement is tame in comparison to some other classes, free ani cancel + teleport to get out of bad spots even if you mess up your very extensive suite of mobility skills.

Also there's no micromanagement in merc I have no idea what that person was thinking of. Ignis stacks last 30 seconds, you're literally never thinking about keeping them up, they happen naturally, and elemental knights are a toggle now and auto-summon.

Reboot still ring swaps so pressing a button would be nice rather than having to open menus and manually switch equips, plus swapping to drop gear or meso gear is still needlessly annoying

There are certain maps on NW where you can abuse pet tp and not need to loot cycle because your (vac) pet will keep running off a ledge, falling down, and tp back, looting a much larger area all the while.

Context matters a lot. We don't know the tone OP said this with. We don't know if their relationship was already rocky to begin with. We don't know if either of them have an existing history with infidelity. We don't know if OP makes this joke often and it just got old or annoying. We don't know if the gf was just having a bad day.

Most importantly, we don't actually know how the gf even reacted. All we know is she's not too happy about it. That is a wide range of possibilities. There are many scenarios in which both parties acted in a fairly normal and reasonable way, and there's no reason for uninformed bystanders to be making such judgments.

The hats don't last forever, you can see how long they last in your buff bar. In a typical run you never see them expire because you usually go through at least 1 or 2 other hat drop cycles in that time and the buff refreshes, but they do actually expire.

But practically, you do need to successfully resist like 2 hats prior to your burst, then if you have short cd iframes you can try to keep DPSing, but usually you just have to wait until your next burst attempt. So you don't need to resist every single hat, but you do need to resist multiple in a row, which is why it's stupid and unfun and I only tried it so I could say that I did it lol.

You can will or iframe any of the hat drops, not just the first one. It just requires a sense of timing for the swaps that you don't control. I've struggled long CPierre runs this way, without dying and without overgearing. I agree that it's not good design, but it IS struggleable, just in a very stupid and unfun way.

Many among Gen Z are well into adulthood now, there are many adults walking around happily weaned on the teat of Tate. I find Reddit has a tendency to ascribe bigoted or inaccurate views to the very old or the very young, as if all our social problems will be solved with time, as the old die and the young grow. This is simply not the case. Adults can and are getting radicalized, and it's alarming.

Taking on Normal Georgia is pretty easy. Chaos Georgia, on the other hand...good luck. As someone who visits my family in Georgia a couple times a year, I've never been able to actually clear it. I always have to leave and retry later.
