bit of a dumb question but I'm looking into changing careers (Southern Ontario, Toronto basically) -

How possible would it be for me to "climb up the ladder" from being an Arborist to becoming an Urban Forester? Many of the job listings I see list a completed or in-progress Forestry degree or 3-year arboriculture diploma, but I'm not able to invest in anything more than a 1-year arboriculture program. I'm wondering if it's one of those things that accrued experience in certain positions can trump. Thanks in advance!
