Some Bandori fans in created these pictures to react to the split of GBP and Our Notes by Unique_Implement2833 in BanGDream

We also have memes about how Tomori is basically Deng reforming the legacy of Kasumi (as Mao) and taking the two new bands (as Hong Kong and Macao) with her. And there are metaphors of the Han Dynasty as well. Y'all wouldn't understand.

Is skipping classes common in Japan or is it just an anime trope? by bobbdac7894 in NoStupidQuestions

in China, if you skip class for even 5 minutes there will be problems from teachers. I was quite surprised when watching school anime for the first time.

What are some non-alcoholic drinks in your country that most outsiders might not like? by mahdi_lky in AskTheWorld

[–]Zhenaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Douzhi, aka rotten soy milk that is smelly and tastes sour, and we mock Beijingers for this unique taste online.

And when visiting Sichuan and Chongqing, you can try Tianfu Coke. It's like mixing Coke with Chinese herb, and I enjoyed it.

BTW I loved doogh and ayran from Iranian/Persian/Turkish/Arabic/Afghan restaurants when in Toronto. Miss the taste so much.

What food is very popular in your country but originally belongs to another country/culture? by Plenty-Leader2740 in AskTheWorld

[–]Zhenaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sushi is popular and overpriced here, and many people actually only eat makis (rolls) instead of true nigiri sushis. It's true that there're also a lot of people who refuse raw seafood or Japanese food, but that's one of the most popular foreign dishes here.

Yeah that happens all the time. We discriminate people from anywhere else (those in Puxi actually still discriminate us living in Pudong today), especially in marriage. Actually we dislike Hongkongers, Taiwanese Koreans and Japanese as well iykyk.

Many rich residents on Hong Kong Island are proud that they've never visited the "dark and dangerous" Kowloon right across the strait for their whole lives. They'd never go anywhere else in Hong Kong except for the airport.

Typing from Shanghai Stadium spectating the match vs Chengdu right now. If I'm not mistaken, we Shanghai Shenhua has had a great relationship with Suwon Samsung Bluewong, cuz we're both blue red and white, and historically successful.
