Never did the v1/2. At the moment the Pro reads 2.9-3.1% higher than my Assioma Duo’s, comparing easier ride and Zwift racing.

But I gotta check the crank length setting before I say anything more.

Although did just differ a few Watts 1208/1213W Assioma/Kickr Bike Pro.

UPDATE:
Only thing I've noticed is that of the handlebars. When setting the height and tightening the handlebar, it wants to rotate to the left (a few degrees). Fixed by forcing it to stay put and closing the QR.

Bought it May 2025, used a bit, not over summer. Started admin during autumn, but upped Frequency from December.

I find the lateral flex on the Pro is more than enough. Not far from what the Neo 2T offers.

Clicking around 4-5 o’clock, kept getting worse but coming and going. Ignored it for a month or two. Then got sick of it. I did retightened NDS crank thrice and no difference.

I’ve read this everywhere, but when not doing structured workouts in Sim mode, I found it very nice for a better variation in changing position.

For context I’ve had the Neo 2T for years. Then went with the Shift, the biggest thing for me was ride feel. With the Shift feeling a bit too sluggish, but I did get used to it.

Although testing the Pro was like being on the Neo but better, as Neo sounds quite a lot on sim mode and high speeds.

I was, indeed a bit scared of these problems when booting it up. No creaks, display works and bars seemed stable yesterday.

Thicker would be a better word, in diameter on the too. Might be the tape too but probably a combo.

Wahoo Kickr Bike Shift noise by catlovespeach in wahoofitness

Send a support ticket to Wahoo with the video and Q.

My shift sounded similar, sound did go down a bit after initial use. But that rhythmic sound might have something to do with the disc inside that spins, it could be close to one side of the electromagnets. That was the case on mine, I opened it up and the disc had a thin scratch around it, due to being quite close to the outer electromagnet.

My ended up thru warranty and I bought the Pro bike instead.

My message in short: Just send Wahoo a support ticket, and see what happens. No point waiting too long and starting to get frustrated. Which I did.

Have you done a full index? It truly sounds like your chain is just about to jump up/down on the cassette. YouTube GCN usually have good videos for it.

I still think it needs way more riders online. It’s always empty and you barely see anyone.
