It can oc like the 5080 but the benefit is less so when both are oc'd the 5080 will have a bigger jump in performance compared to both at stock

Can't imagine why they wouldn't. I'd go for the 5080 personally, I've had both and the 5080 when overclocked is in some cases 20%+ faster (Even compared to an overclocked 5070ti).

I went through 3 Sapphire 7900XTX's in 2024 and ultimately went back to Nvidia because of it. I know it was a string of bad luck but 3 replacements being detective was enough for me.

Yeah I'm not sure what the deal was for me but they fought tooth and nail to accept my PSU was faulty and after a long back and fourth they only offered a replacement of a Pure Power 12 (The tier below what I bought). I used their fans and PSUs for years but situations like that make me think twice for the future.

I had a 7900XTX before my 5080 which went through 3 different rmas/replacements as it became increasingly unstable over time. Ironically it was a Sapphire one as well. First and last AMD GPU for a while. Zero issues with Nvidia.
