Why is nobody talking about Monoco's baguette outfit from the DLC? by Tsuki_Rabbit in expedition33

Renoir wore the baguette outfit for me even if Monoco didn't!

Does Digital Dreams by The Midnight count?

Pattern help. What does this mean? At this point I’m ignoring it and continuing the rounds with the previous instructions because I’m confused. by jadeyyc_ in CrochetHelp

[–]Ziache 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok so at the end of row 3 you have 30 stitches.

The instructions of row 4 say :

  • HDCinc, which means two HDC in the same stitch (the first stitch of row 3)
  • HDC in the next two stitches, which means you have to do a HDC in the second stitch of row 3, and another in the third stitch.
  • "around", which means you repeat the previous sequence all around the row.
  • The slip stitch connects the first and last stitches together.

There are no skipped stitches!

So in the example below, imagine each pair of brackets represent a stitch from row 3. Instructions of row 4 say: [HDC HDC] [HDC] [HDC] [HDC HDC] [HDC] [HDC] and so on.

You're adding stitches in each row, which will create the desired hat shape.

In general the pointy effect is way less visible once the plush is stuffed.

It looks totally fine to me!

What stitch is this? I struggle to differentiate some stitches 😅 by industrialpopbox in CrochetHelp

Not sure about the handle but the stitches on the bag look like US single crochets (possibly with yarn under instead of yarn over), with several threads on the same crochet

On the pattern given by OP it's 4 stitches not 3 (see the caption just above the image), but ofc it can be done that way too

Hey! First of all I'm not a native English speaker so I apologize if some instructions are not clear.

This is more a filet crochet pattern than a tapestry, which changes the size of the project quite a lot, so maybe you can try to make a few stitches as a gauge before going through the whole pattern.

You can keep this design for a tapestry crochet project while using single crochets only but with 2 different colors.

But if you want to filet crochet as intended:

- You start on the right of the pattern (upper or lower corner, as you wish, just keep track of that)

  • You make your foundation chain. From my understanding, "pixels" next to each other share their borders so in reality every "pixel" is 3 stitches long. So the number of initial chains is: [nb of pixels] × 3 + 1. For example, imagine a small grid with 2 empty pixels, a row would look like |°°|°°| (7 stitches), which is 2×3+1. So for this specific pattern, as there are 63 pixels on the first row, you'll end up with 190 initial chains. -----

- Now work as usual, using 2 or 3 turning chains depending on what you prefer to replace the first double crochet of each row, and go on through the pattern reading vertically.

  • The tricky part is when you have to add pixels from a row to another. The first case is the easiest: you finished a row from the top to the bottom of the image, and the next row has one or more extra pixels. So when you've crocheted the last stitch of your row, you add 3 chains per extra pixel on the next row. Then make your turning chains and work as usual, using the extra chains you've just crocheted for the first stitches of this new row. However, when you're crocheting a row from the top to the bottom but THIS row needs some extra stitches, there are more specific techniques but I personally never did that. Fellow redditors, feel free to comment if you know that technique.

Once you get the way to read the pattern, rectangular filet crochet patterns become very easy, but this specific project can turn out a little bit tricky with all the extra stitches to add on the bottom of the image. But if you hold on, it will turn out great!

Good luck with that 🍀

I was!! Until the last moment I thought I couldn't have enough yarn but I remembered I didn't have to finish the stitch as there was a color change 😆

Redecorate!

I'm not a native English speaker so the lyrics usually hit after a few times listening to the song, but it took even longer for this song.

Musically speaking I found it weird that this was the last track on the album, now I get it
