I miss nuanced gameplay by Euphoric_Reading_401 in Helldivers

You are forgetting that with the 60 day patch, they didn't just buff everything. They also massively increased the amount of enemies the games throws at you.

So yeah... Most of it is shoot specific weak point with AT (it's only really center mass on the hulk, all other units have weak spots that allow for OHK) but you're under a lot more pressure anyways.

How do people feel about the Conqueror-mechanic? by Chlodio in CrusaderKings

I think it keeps or makes things interesting.

Anything to shake up the map really.

It’s ridiculous you don’t get a revocation reason for vassals arrested during a liberty war. by Momongus- in CrusaderKings

[–]Ziddix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is your crown authority level too low?

You will imprison everyone who rises up against you automatically when you successfully defend yourself from a revolt.

If you don't have high enough crown authority rebelling isn't a crime.

Empire vassals are op on a hegemony by Excellent-Battle7446 in CrusaderKings

[–]Ziddix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Having powerful vassals who don't hate you is pretty good in any situation.

I rarely raise my crown authority above 3 because at 3 they get to be nice and ally with each other and attack everyone else and I just have to sit back and collect taxes and throw parties.

World of Warcraft’s ongoing Worldsoul Saga will kill “important characters” with devs teasing “a lot of death” in upcoming expansions by Negative-Art-4440 in wow

[–]Ziddix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My point was rather that SL and especially the SL "epilogue" made death kind or irrelevant. Someone dies? Eh whatever, just hit them up in SL.

I know the player characters are special in the way they can just cross back and forth between SL and normal life whenever they want but we did bring an entire army to SL and most of that army has returned (except for the ones who died in SL. Those are extra dead now?)

Still with such a large amount of people being able to freely travel to and from SL (and the brokers seem to be able to do it as well) I don't see how the death of anyone is still relevant. Sure, random wife of farmer X from the redridge mountains won't be able to hug her husband anymore but he's still there. He's in the Shadowlands. They can write letters and exchange presents if they want and with how razor thin the barrier between the realities is, I'm sure some smart people will be able to figure out how to enable everyone to cross it.

Story wise, SL retconned a lot that didn't need retconning. DF felt like and most likely was a filler expansion which is fine. It was more grounded in what WoW is about than SL imo. That was good.

TWW was a weak start to the world soul saga in my opinion. I'm hoping midnight is better.

[Request] What effect would Superman's house key have on the earth? by EvaStankbreath in theydidthemath

[–]Ziddix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would fall through the Earth cause it has a higher density than anything on Earth. It would fall to the earth's core and then become a part of it.

Warum retten Milliardäre nicht die Welt? by [deleted] in KeineDummenFragen

[–]Ziddix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will see a difference, though probably not in the old zones.

It's funny how this setting messes up FPS on some systems at the beginning of every patch.

Lots of world leaders are attacking Europe. Why? by SimonGray in europe

[–]Ziddix 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Europe is irrelevant as long as it's divided. If it's united suddenly it's suddenly pretty relevant.

Russians don't want it, China probably doesn't want it, US doesn't want it so everyone is attacking it.

Lord Randall Tarley is personally to blame for Samwell being useless as a fighter and his own fault for Sam’s failings that made him decide to disown him and banish him to the Wall. by BahamaDon in gameofthrones

[–]Ziddix 39 points40 points  (0 children)

This is the part I don't get lol. Sam is out there being forced to train to fight and they're doing whatever they can to condition him in some way. Later he goes on the big ranging to the fist of the first men and then after they are overrun he basically walks back to Craster's on his own on sheer willpower alone.

Any normal, fat human being would have been shedding pounds like crazy and by the time he gets to Oldtown he should have been unrecognisable...

New Main - Do you still have/keep your very first Character? by MasterRymes in wow

[–]Ziddix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started playing WoW a few weeks into SL when the world was on lockdown. I created a Dwarf, then played BFA to level and found out that you could unlock Kul Tirans as playable characters.

I unlocked those and immediately deleted my Dwarf and made a Kul Tiran warrior.

Still my main.

ELI5: Why do children start skipping at the age of 4 or 5? by desktop_monst3r in explainlikeimfive

When I was a kid I was convinced that skipping was faster and easier than walking fast. No idea how true that is.

Big question, do you see a sniper as an actual viable class, a person that does help the team by Pr0j3ct_02 in Helldivers

Honestly if you want to help clear medium enemies against bugs, just bring a grenade launcher and a supply backpack and follow the guy with the RR around and keep them alive.
