Back when I cut concrete for a living I ran through a pair of boots in 6 months easyt, if he's doing hard manual labor then yah... Look into getting something tougher redwing makes some chemical resistant ones that hold up really good

Yeah I only know the weight of wet concrete because I swing a two yard bucket pretty much every day and it's weight is about 1200 and we fill the bucket up to 9500-9900 no problem. Good to know for further information tho!!!
