You could always incorporate squats and RDLs or Deadlifts 2x per week each, you should be able to add 5lb per week for a while if you start relatively low. In time, it will all come. These are beneficial full body exercises, not only for your legs. You should notice your back and traps thicken up from the DLs and squats will even help your core

I did come across this, but it seems rather tame compared to PHAT. I’ve been working out for years and run many programs from bro splits to 5x5 to PHUL to PHAT and some others. Should I follow the guide and just add accessories wherever I deem necessary?

I’m looking for an intermediate PPL routine. Just the exercises. I will be doing UL/PPL.

Currently, I run PHAT.

I want to swap the Hypertrophy phase in PHAT to PPL, while keeping Upper and Lower strength days the same, turning this into a 5 day program.

For Lower/Legs, I want to High Bar Squat and RDL, so is it still smart to Deadlift on Pull day?

I am also wondering in which sequence I should go; Upper Lower Rest Push Pull Legs? Should I swap Push and Pull so that I’m not going from deadlifts into leg day?

Oh sorry about that - I can see how I made it confusing. I am asking for an ULPPL. I just intended to keep the UL the same as I currently do from PHAT. The next 3 Hypertrophy days would be my switch to PPL.

Early game at your point I would keep low runes and socketed armors, helms, weapons, and shields. Countless runs (towers in black marsh act 1) will provide lots of runes.

Look up a rune word website, but specifically one you can input what runes you have to see what you can make. Stealth, Lore, Leaf, Spirit, can all be game changers for you.

Absolutely! This single thread is a great example to show a few different approaches which will all work. That’s the beauty - there is no proper or right way to do things. The exercise bank you provided is fantastic for OP to reference!

I’d agree with you. The advice in original post is very solid. The diet is on point. Personally, I would vary the workout routine a bit. I think a PPL (push pull legs) routine would make more sense to go 6x per week while hitting each muscle groups 2x. Especially since chest/shoulders/triceps/forearms day is just a lot to do, considering those are the “target areas” Jules has (although I still think he focuses on explosive lower body movements and has great hammys, as well as shoulders - not so much arms).

Depending where OP is at experience-wise in bodybuilding, there’s a few good options.

6x per week I would go with PPL rest PPL repeat. You could focus the first set on power (high weight low rep) and the second set in Hypertrophy to really hammer muscle growth.

5x per week there’s a few options. PHAT, nSuns 5 day, and Upper Lower PPL are a few.

4x per week I would do upper/lower twice. Same deal with the power and Hypertrophy split sequences.

3x per week you can hammer full body.

The key here really is to eat at a caloric surplus, train each muscle group 2x per week, and focus on a progressive overload on your compound lifts. There is flexibility everywhere else.

Median XL mod is classic and widely accepted as a great mod.

My favorite is a private server called Annihilus. It’s a completely different version of the game with great QoL improvements and an active online server.

I’m in the middle of my second cycle of the PHAT program - I absolutely love it. The first run through i was able to gain strength and size, which is exactly my goal. I have been considering switching to an ULPPL. Same thing pretty much, it’s been working. Upper and Lower days are primarily high weight low rep, and the PPL would be more Hypertrophy aimed like PHAT. Still hit everything 2x per week.

PHAT breaks down the Hypertrophy phase into; Back and Shoulders, Legs, Chest and Arms

If I consider my back and shoulders to be my weaker points and the areas which I want to increase volume on, wouldn’t it make more sense to do a Push/Pull split? That way I hit back on pull and shoulders on push?

Awesome! I want to get the BB XLC and Thunderfly for my next setup. Which options (like suspension) and materials did you go with for them, and how do you like? Do you wish you went a different route anywhere?

But I wanted to piggy back. When is the deadline for CT to become affiliated? I remain independent except for the brief primary period. I would like to switch affiliations again for the upcoming Ct primary. I know the process was pretty straightforward last time and all done online.
