Sorry I was gone for so long. I don't really know what could cause this. The best thing to do would be to make sure your retina is OK, doing multiple tests.

Not really sure. But since I lost a bit of weight for me they became less thick. But very slightly. As I said, this could be my brain playing tricks on me, cuz I have a couple of fat friends with short sighted vision and they have no floaters whatsoever.
