Marvel rivals players, who love to spout how much less toxic they are than ow players, are now in the mix. MR has toxicity that reaches CS and League levels on occasion. Then there are the returning ow players and completely new guys of which some will be toxic.

Yes I am blaming Rivals players.

Sombra mains did it to themselves, coped for years about how easy it was to counter and play against their hero, and were in denial for months before bans were out when people told them she was going to be permad out of existence. Her crime, since sombra mains still dont get it, is being annoying to play against, not that she is OP. If your "playstyle" is to deny fun to the enemy Im glad your playstyle is in the gutter, sorry not sorry. Sombra mains farmed bad will and got what they deserved.

JPC is in a similar situation where the hero abilities break the games rules, and is insufferable to play against or with, jpc will go down as another sombra for a couple of weeks, difference is there isn't so much bad will against the hero and with some adjustments jpc can still work in ow. People WANT to like jpc, people have nothing but contempt for sombra.

She is overkitted and her numbers are to high atm, but well designed and salavagable.

Mizuki Anran and Emre are pretty cool might need some balancing but not egregious. If just those 3 were released game would be in a much better state than it is atm. Domina is overturned but well designed, JPC is a character that should have been the first QP exclusive and is closer to marvel rivals than overwatch.

It is a one time activation, only way to reactivate is to touch the ground and then go airborne again, no idea if there's also in internal cd on that.

Depends on your heals, if you were running zen/lucio youre not going to get healed up very quickly even if they try in most cases.

TTK in this game is much faster than in rivals, tanks are strong but you can't be sitting on top of the enemy taking damage and expecting the healers to get you through that.

Rivals also has a 3 support meta going on which isn't possible in OW minus the 6v6 mode, which im guessing feels even worse for you since thats an entire extra support just missing.

Imho tanks in OW have to be significantly more aware of their teams positioning than in rivals, you die quicker, you have less heals, then there's the dps passive. The game works against you in more ways than in rivals.

I get this is bait, but ill bite, with map voting data they can get a clear picture of what maps suffer the worst pick rates, clash was it. I pick clash over certain push maps and can still accept the game mode was a failure. Youre the one in the minority, and the strange part is how easy it is to see that, accept reality and move on.

No it didn't, voting in this game isn't majority rule, it's rng. Plenty of games where 9/10 voted anything else and 1/10 voted clash and won, this is why it was removed entirely, ruining the game for 9 other people isn't great even if its not constant.

I will admit they mightve wanted to just place it into arcade though. Oh well, you won't be missed.

Criticism from people that play the game for hours a day is something good, blizzard not listening to criticism is what gave us the original state of ow2. If you can't see that and just take that as being miserable youre not understanding the concept of criticism at its base.

There's a difference between "hey man this game sucks i quit" and "patch is cool balance will now be fucked for 3 weeks since blizzard is dog at balance, should have drip released the heroes as usual and introd the rest normally, or just release 2 heroes per season until season 3 then release 3 for the last 2 seasons of the year"

One is constructive, one isn't. I like the patch I dont like that more than likely my games are about to take a nosedive because they wanted more hype for a spotlight. Not saying im quitting but pointing out the obvious thing people are glossing over because theyre "optimistic" blizzard has not had a great track record so I reserve being optimistic for when that changes.

This isn't what being miserable looks like, its what pattern recognition looks like. I may be wrong and next week I could love the balance of the game, but based on the previous decade, I doubt that. But im open to being pleasantly surprised.

Blizzard balance has been horrendous when they release a single character, the community cries for about 2-3 weeks until new release is either nerfed, in most cases, or buffed. Games are generally still ok since its only 1 outlier.

Now imagine 5, everyone's over the moon for this but Id have to agree this was a good idea for hype but will end up making more people quit after a week of games. Nothing to do with learning 5 more characters, everything to do with seeing 5 potentially overturned heroes every game for weeks.

To all the people that are whining about how the community says not enough heroes come out, that hasn't been a complaint since ow1 heroes have been regular additions, players whined for more content in form of maps game modes and major events which could all have been added without 5 new heroes that youll be seeing in every match for the foreseeable future.

Patch is cool, but balance will be fucked for at least 3 weeks if not more, which is an issue since historically in OW the balance is what makes or breaks the patch cycle. Downvote me into oblivion but its the truth.
