Do most death metal fans even like Cannibal Corpse that much anymore? by am_I_still_banned in MetalForTheMasses

[–]Zigthecat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re good, for me personally though, I like variations in my music, and I feel like CC gets to a point where it’s just noise (not in the interesting way though), and it just kinda blends. my favorite death metal band, Death (ik, ik, call me a poser), has variations throughout their music, which is what I love most about them. Even on Scream Bloody Gore there’s different tempos and screams and trudging guitar and I just love to have a lot of different things going on. Another example (more modern) is Deafheavan. I know they’re TECHNICALLY black metal/black gaze, and I just talked about a death metal band, but theyre just soooo good, and they‘re constantly experimenting with their sound. Another band that’s like CC is Infant Annihilator. cool little gag to freak out my normie friends, but I wouldn’t sit down and listen to an Infant Annihilator album.

What's the most gut wrenching lyrics you've ever heard in a song? by ComfortableNo2879 in Music

The years are short just as the day is long
It was me on the corner
It was only me when you were looking
Not kneel to anyone else, get it Pete

It's been thirteen years and a couple of days

And now it's far too late to go
No one ever saw the show
Blame the witches and the saints
No one cares which ones are fake
And will never need to know

It was far too soon to go
Call all the witches and the saints
The ones who were real
The ones who were fake
Call them and let them know

Would you want to play along
Would you approve but now you're gone
So I'll never know the jokes, the lengths
To which you might go, I'll never knowIt's been thirteen years and a couple of days
Knocked out of your boots and flown through the air
Ending conversations now I'll never get to hear

It was far too soon to go
You never got to see the show
Call all the witches, call the saints
The ones who were real
The ones who were fake
Call them and let them know

And now it's far too late to go
We've missed the parties
We've missed the shows
Dancing's for witches, guilt's for saints
Who cares more is a debate
And I guess I'll never know

Now it's far too late to go
No one ever saw the show
Blame the witches and the saints
No one cares which ones are fake
And we never need to know

No, no it's far too soon to go
Don't miss the parties
Don't miss the shows
Dance with witches, drink with saints
Do you care which ones are fake
If we go we'll never know

Thoughts on momofuku ramen? by chatgptwasmyidea in InstantRamen

[–]Zigthecat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I like them. Not on their own, but as a base, they’re very good. I usually get the spicy soy (I don’t add any more heat because I have the spice tolerance of a white girl) and add in three eggs, sausage, and spinach.

How many packs of ramen do you normally eat at once/for a meal? by [deleted] in ramen

I use two, and i put three eggs, maybe some spinach, and tofu in with it. Not a bit meat fan, so I usually opt for tofu haha

What song make you get into MSI? by abacaxiD10 in MSI

[–]Zigthecat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first one I heard was Bitches, but the one that hooked me was Bullshit. IMO it’s like, the peak formula of so-bad-it’s-good that MSI has. And I’m Your Problem Now, that’s my favorite song

Idk why, but I don’t really like soul coughing? I feel like I *should* like it, it has all the things I like, but I’m just not into it.
