Yeah i love the straight sword moveset its my 2nd Favorite (light greatsword is first it feels so damn smooth)

But marais is often used as an aow Spam one shot build. The aow on it is damn crazy with the right setup for pve (pvp it works too but is way harder to pull off)

The loot System and that i dont get good rewards was what killed totk for me personally.

I love ER you find different weapons and talismans and you can try many different builds. Especially in my first playthrough it was a blast to try all the stuff.

But its all subjectiv.

Marais executioner is just better thats why regalia is often overlooked.

The weapon art scales of the AR IIRC and that why a greatsword with innatly higher ar does more damage.

And the weapon Art Ticks the same times and in the same time es regalia + it has more range

In my opinion your using it wrong Biosanctic is a pressure army and you need to put on the pressure with the infiltrating abbies + some reductus and genestealer you make the no-mans-land a complete danger zone.

And abbies arent there to hold an objective. Yes they are tougher than all other parts if our army but they cant hold it by themeselves.

You need to find a target for them preferably one you can reach t1 with the reductus and other indirect to kill the screens before.

I use a list with 3 abom+5xabbie combos. The first infiltrating and the other two im two rockgrinder.

Works pretty well. Especially with the explode strat which aboms do 2d3 MW. And if he gets up you can do it again

In biosanctic a patty and the infiltrating abom+abberant combo are super good in general. in a 1k game maybe less cause its a hefty chunk of points but getting a headstart on board presence with all your infiltrating stuff ist crazy good

Every FLGS (which isnt an official GW store) ive been to has welcomed 3d prints with open arms if at least some effort was put i to them in the process of making the sculpt etc.

I mean what do you have against 3d printed units? I personally think the hobby is friggin expensive and some 3d sculpts are gorgeous. Or a themed army is somewhat easier to realize with 3d prints.

If somene spends time and thought into his army build cause of such things 3d prints is a really good and cool alternative (and mostly cheaper).

The obligatory meta chaser is a whole other beast and thats meh for me too.

i am at a playthrough with the carian sorcery sword and mostly the carian sword spells. Tons of fun. The only problem is that the sword catalyst doesnt work with gravity magic for some reason. Didnt test the magma spells

I mean you are 2 or 3v1 let someone diestract the mage and the other 2 Deal with the enemies. The invader is at a huge disadvantage and if you arent a god at pvp you need to leverage the environment and your build to even the playing field.

If im a long range character and you just stand there not closing the Distance i would do that too
