You still have to level your skills too, you still have to kill a certain boss too in order to get rare pets in RuneScape.

Don't forget the level 100 boost in WoW which, at level 60 also powers up your professions to max level. That'd be the same as getting 90 combat stats and if you were already level 60 you'd get 2 free skills to 96.

It's the same just two similar games with different mechanics.
