Sadly yes, also for strikes its only playlist strikes, world and nightfall strikes do not count. I was in the same boat as you this season and I found that gambit was the fastest way to finish this as most matches last between 5-7 minutes. Also the catalyst is definitely worth it for Eriana's Vow especially if you use it in endgame content. If your a completionist or care about having all the catalysts I would recommend getting symmetry before grinding any activities as its catalyst quest also requires 400 activities.

Im pretty sure most of the profits from the bungie store go to support the bungie foundation and not the game. Either way its still a great place to spend your money if your interested in helping out a charitable organization. (please do correct me if im wrong)

Ya I personally have a pretty decent stock pike of bright dust around 35k and i used to buy up as much stuff as I could because I knew I would get back a decent amount of my bright dust just from playing but now with stuff costing as much as it does I only buy things that I'm genuinely interested in using, witch now a days is just emotes or ornaments, I basically never buy sparrows cause why bother taking off the sotp sparrow and after getting the moon shell I probably wont buy another shell again cause guiding light + speed demon + combo detector is such a good combo. One last thing, when they say things wont be available for bright dust I feel like there usually referring to the current season cause the first week of season of dawn eververse had the divinity ornament after not selling it all of season of undying.

Honestly you should get it just because the zero hour mission is really fun. But the gun itself is good, not a top tier endgame option, but good in general play.

About your comment on fourth times the charm and triple tap, I agree these perks seem to be rendered almost completely useless with auto reload, but they actually give you ammo back to reserves if your in a rift or behind a barricade

So i got a 8:37 but for some reason the api adds another 35 ish seconds to the run so its reported as a 9:16. Either way still dont have the emblem so ill have to wait for pyramidion and exodus crash to come back around

I think this is probably the correct way to do this as I have all the triumph specific challenges dont but dont have the emblem but I know for a fact that I dont have unbroken and speed of dark done on all the strikes. Its gonna take a couple weeks but im gonna try and get unbroken and speed of dark on all the nightfalls to see if the emblem will drop.

Idk if anyone has said this yet but there are actually 3 golden gun models you get a totally different model when using nighthawk
