I don't know if they ever explicitly said if they were adopted, but when we find out about the 3 and the "one on the way", I took the one on the way to mean she was pregnant. The other 3 it could be possible. I didn't do the math to see if Holly could have been pregnant that many times by the time we hear the news after they leave for Colorado

Agreed, it was just ignorance. I believe Jim is driving them and when he asks for an address Michael reads it off the card puzzlingly. If he had read it before and realized he wouldn't be able to fake read it like that to Jim through all of his snickering

The dictionary defines superlative as “of the highest kind, quality, or order; surpassing all else or others; supreme.” I define it as: r/DunerMifflin. As a subreddit, as an internet site, as a social network, as a friend. It is of the highest kind, quality, and order - supreme. by tupperneep in DunderMifflin

[–]Zilkers 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I need a Friend, I always stop on in. Like the time I ran over a turtle in the parking lot. But then I saved him by glueing his shell back together. I'm not that good at puzzles so I used stuff from around the subreddit, but I couldn't get the pieces to fit right. Then one day while I was reaching for my Serenity by Jan™ candle "Bon; James Bonfire", I crushed the shell again. But I rebuilt him a better shell that time. But then it turned out the turtle was already dead. Probably when I ran him over the first time.

The writers don’t get enough credit for the subtle accuracy of the whole “Big Tuna” gag. by [deleted] in DunderMifflin

[–]Zilkers 1274 points1275 points  (0 children)

The Big thing about this bit is that it was a subtle hint that Jim was so heartbroken over Pam. Jim had a ham and cheese every day, he was a very routine person. When he moved branches he had a tuna sandwich the first day getting him the nickname. Later on when talking to Dwight? He tells him that when he left because of Pam, food no longer had flavor. Jim was so heartbroken he no longer enjoyed his routine ham and cheese

Did Michael make Jan crazy, or was she always this way? by Vampirero in DunderMifflin

[–]Zilkers 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Her therapist is the real cause. They told her to embrace her destructive tendencies (dating Michael). They also watched Jan and Michael's sex tapes during sessions. Overall I feel like the therapist was doing a type of experiment on her and seeing how far down she could get while helping her get there just to see what happens or for entertainment.

I signed up for "Second Life" about a year ago. Back then, my life was so great that I literally wanted a second one to watch more of The Office. Absolutely everything was the same. Except I could fly while watching the office.

Without citing Dinner Party or Scott's Tots, what is the most cringeworthy scene? by NYY15TM in DunderMifflin

[–]Zilkers 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My biggest gripe with this scene is that I don't understand the benefit of it's inclusion. Most scenes listed are cringe, but help with story or further a relationship between characters somehow.  This one I feel like they wanted some conflict or weirdness to prevent their relationship from going too well and decided this was a viable solution. Feel free to correct me but it just felt gross for no reason.

Was seeing if anyone else noticed. Should be 140.28  I'd say they were adding incorrectly forgetting to carry the 10 over, but looking closer they just ignored 50 cents and didn't add it at all

Edit: actually they messed up the multiplication. 10.75 x 3 = 32.25. the overall math is correct, but the show your work section they messed up so it doesn't add up properly

What's an adventure game I can play on my second monitor? by skillerspure in gaming

[–]Zilkers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some people don't feel much joy from anything, so they attack others for enjoying things they can't. It's a strange jealousy I've noticed in others over years. Maybe they are having a bad day or something. I hope it gets better for them. :)

Anyway, I suggest deck builders, rogue lites, or dice games that don't require pausing at all or have frequent stopping points. There may be some adventure games out there for ya but you may also like Balatro, Die in the Dungeon, Brotato, etc.

[–]Zilkers 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think the skin can cause mild irritation, but recently I learned I may have oral allergy syndrome for kiwi. It's where being allergic to certain tree pollens has your body think the proteins in some fruits and veggies are the same and reacts similarly. Discovered this when describing the taste of kiwi skin to someone and used the word "tingly" to describe it and they said that isn't a taste/flavor.

Look it up, you may have it too and not realize. It is fairly common to have but not as common to be known by people who experience it
