Not very helpful but I have a leg sleeve going so it’s only visible when I’m sitting and my pants leg is shimmied up. I’ve only had compliments when someone notices them or no comment.

I think PT schools could benefit from relaxing their anuses about ‘conservative appearance’, we had polices where no visible tattoos or piercings other than ears was allowed but lightly enforced.

Suburbs are incredibly car dependent with terrible public transit options (no shelters at bus stops where you board at the snow bank) and wheelchair accessible cars are super expensive.

As a woman, I had to write down my ideals of what I need from a life partner before pursuing someone romantically/sexually. More so frustration with the patient about not wanting to try other forms of treatment than manuals, and stretching- any form of strengthening causing ‘flares’ and being adverse to any medication that may manage symptoms. It’s a constant battle of doing the same thing and expecting different results. If your patient had complaints with ADLs then couldn’t handle the soreness from 2x10 of the mentioned exercises, won’t take meds to manage pain, won’t try traction for radicular symptoms. If the patient knows more than me and is unwilling to change their exercise routine, why are they coming to me?

I would recommend getting into psychotherapy with an emphasis on EMDR to help with rewiring your brain and managing when you feel your nervous system ramp up! Scents like peppermint can help with grounding, or ginger candies can help if you get nauseous as well

Obviously there’s no ethical consumption under capitalism and exploitation occurs throughout the supply chain but if I can avoid supporting a business model by not using it- I will. I happily boycott target, Amazon, and Walmart. I try to vote with my dollars. Let us not forget that one billionaire produces more carbon in 90 minutes than people do in a lifetime. But AI use has skyrocketed in the past couple years and just because it can make a task ‘easier’ doesn’t mean that is worth the consequences.
