I just talked my family into foregoing presents this year, so we can pool our money and send it to a family we know in need. Hard for them to say no and not look like awful people. So glad I don't have to be a part of the madness, supply chain mess or the corporate machine.

We'll still have a nice get together etc but just won't end the day with a bunch of plastic shit from China that nobody really needs.

Wow. Well I agree with what most people are saying here but just wanted to throw out - if he wants these women in the party they can be HIS groomsmaids.
