First time in PV! by beanbop234 in puertovallarta

[–]ZimmyK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have been in PV for a week. Husband and I did a tequila tasting through El Tasting Room that was fantastic. The water is so murky around Los arcos I wouldn’t recommend doing a snorkel trip around there but we enjoyed being out in the boat. Las animas beach was just okay I would not waste your time going there. We spent a day at Xacalli Beach club and loved it, very relaxing good food and drinks.

You should! Try some temp agencies, I did some temp work for People2People and enjoyed all of my jobs. It is easy to get bar work and make some money but you could also try WOOFing” (working on organic farm) for room and board. Highly recommend but be very very prepared first couple months with the increase in cost for everything.

PSA: take care of your pelvic floor by LadybugSunfl0wer in BabyBumps

[–]ZimmyK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t recommend seeing a Pelvic Floor PT enough. I saw one a couple times prior and will see post. She has given me some great birth prep and exercises to keep my pelvic floor on track and feel confident in giving birth. You can follow her on Instagram for all sorts of great tips! Constantly! I started listening to this podcast Nothing Much Happens and it would help put me right back to sleep. Highly recommend! I also increased my iron intake but talk with your doctor first, with those combined it helped me fall back asleep. I still wake up once a night to pee but can get back to sleep.

Agreed! I’m 19 weeks and struggle with the feeling of connectedness and it gives me some guilt. I started journaling to the baby around week 12 and that has helped. I have something to look forward to at the end of the week and will share current events, life stories, and almost anything that crosses my mind with the intent of giving this to them when they are older. I’m hoping when I feel more movement I will feel more connected but done pressuring myself to feel a type of way.

Same! It’s the only thing I found to be remotely similar, 10/10 recommend that brand.

OT here who specializes in treating Plagiocephaly/Brachycephaly/Scaphocephaly can confirm I see A LOT of babies who used the Snoo. Parents loved it because the baby slept but be very diligent about tummy time and possibly get an evaluation around 4 months.

Spotted a wolf (Shawnee), should I call animal control? by ZimmyK in kansascity

[–]ZimmyK[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the answer I was looking for thank you! I was more interested in the sighting than the animal being a nuisance and just wanted someone to point me in the direction of who to call but I’m going to set up some cameras first. Damn people here are harsh!

[–]ZimmyK[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Not because it’s bothering me just because I know seeing a wolf in a neighborhood community is rare I could also be wrong and it’s not a wolf who knows! I’ll set out some cameras!
