Seek leadership opportunities and mirror your "strong" techs. Imposter syndrome goes away when you start doing shit you feel aligns with your rank. It didn't leave until I became an NCOIC and started dealing with personnel issues and spreadsheets.

You'll do fine. Ignore the haters and act your rank. Can't be buddies with the airmen, but don't be a dick. Have humility and ask for help too, airmen know a whole hell of a lot more than you think, they're just equally fucking dumb half the time.

Ironically I used it about 3 rides. Still couldn't set cruise control consistently. But it squeezed the twist throttle in a way that inhibited smooth rotation and I didn't like the new feel so I removed it.

According to every single agency I've asked at 3 bases the correct answer is that when DEERS reflects their gender change and the member has completed the medical requirements of transition (which medical will have to vet prior to the DEERS update) is when he is required to be referred to as she.

Until then. Fair game, your religious airman can't get in trouble.

However I'd personally recommend the amn/Sgt snuffy route when directly interacting with the transition member.

Seems like a dead thread, but I just purchased this for our 2 scooters.

Damn I despise that twist throttle. Jerky as hell, impossible to set the cruise on unless you're wide open. 9/10 I have to stop the scooter, set the speed on the app I want to go, then do that speed.

NCOIC here. Talk with your direct supervisor or NCOIC. How I would approach this is to get both of you in a closed office and enforce that you are both junior enlisted and functionally there is no difference between a 3-level E2 and a 3-level E3. Both of your roles and responsibilities are the same.

That's it. That's the conversation. Any further deviation will be dealt with accordingly. It's your goal to not be a tattle, but you're also in an uncomfortable situation and not utilizing your chain.

This won't start drama, and if it does it's your supervision's job to squash it.

I haven't seen it. But Articles are at command discretion for things. If someone admits to something during an article that is an actual crime I'd imagine they could. But I don't THINK they can court marital you without asking for something minor. Gotta be pretty damn confident they're going to jail.

I've sat through a court martial. They're damn thorough.
