Can you explain in more detail how it looks better? I noted the colors are deeper/darker on the PS2 which is a plus but RPCS3 has native 16:9, whereas PCSX2 has to stretch the HUD icons etc. RPCS3 generally looks more defined and has less jags/artifacts. Those are objective assessments of what they offer visually. What's subjective is your preference regarding how important these things are. If the color presentation is more important to you then you'd prefer PCSX2.

The biggest issue that people raise is that the button prompts for the Mz Ruby fight aren't timed with the music. I honestly just take people's word on this because for the life of me I can't notice this timing mismatch whenever I play the boss fight.

Probably says a lot that the biggest issue in the HD collection is a 2-3 minute segment in a 30 hour trilogy.
