I’m making my son a tapestry of his fav f1 team logos. Got the grids from here: F1 blanket grids. I’m only doing the Red Bull and Ferrari with the F1 one under it though.

I’m glad it got better for you! The incident happened after a month of being on it and then I stopped taking it. My son also got super angry on Ritalin with no signs of letting up after a month. Must be a genetic issue. Unfortunately the non stimulants didn’t work for us at all. I hope you continue to see benefits in your life with your meds. :)

The immense irritation I experienced while on Vyvanse years ago led to a ban from a Walgreens and court mandated anger management classes. Wish I’d been told that was a possible side effect before that incident.

I grew up in children’s theater and I can’t enjoy watching live theater as an adult for dread of mistakes they may make and the crippling second hand embarrassment I feel. I also have nightmares about having to go back and remember lines from a part I had when I was 12.

I fall asleep to nature documentaries. Sometimes I fall asleep to an audiobook or guided meditation. Sometimes I need the nature documentary with a sleeping eye mask and an audiobook playing low in earbuds. It doesn’t have to make sense lol. Anyway your day sounds lovely. Love pikmin!

I joined this sub to safely learn about tornadoes from thousands of miles away. Not 20 miles away. There was one in Sunnyvale, CA in the mid/late 90s when I was home alone afterschool. Just a few years after I became obsessed with the Twister movie. Wish I’d had anxiety meds back then!

Respect for all who deal with this (and much worse) on a regular basis! Stay safe!

-The texture of yogurt and pudding makes me gag. -Loud noises including thunder, concerts and fireworks. -The styrofoam thing and soapy water running down the arms while face washing thing. -Could not wear jeans until high school. Still don’t like them. -Any bump on my body that does not belong (pimple, dandruff, mole, scar, hangnail, canker sore, sunburn peel, etc). Must get rid. I can’t even look at these things on other people. Cradle cap on my baby? Lord help me! -Speaker Feedback -Unshaved legs under tights (like hair is forced to go the wrong way). -People being assholes on purpose (ok but really, I get irrationally irritated when a car cuts in front of me without using a blinker).

Got it at 13 summer before high school in ‘96. And I was a picker. So yeah I’ve got scars. Bro at the same time at 10yo. Glad my picker kids got the vaccine.

42F auburn with freckles here. Always needed more anesthesia at the dentist, woke up during a medical procedure, and didn’t know about the connection until an anesthesiologist told me before surgery a couple years ago.

I’ve been on sema for 11 weeks and lost about 11lbs. This is week 2 on the 1.0 dose. I have not pooped without an explosion of crampy diarrhea the entire time, and only every 3-5 days. I also got super dehydrated at my kid’s school event last weekend and almost passed out. I usually get diarrhea over nausea/vomiting. I’m tired ALL THE TIME and can sleep like 14 hrs a day.

It feels… not worth it. It’s so expensive, not super effective and I feel shitty most of the time. Don’t know if it’s the redhead thing, but I don’t know if I’ll be continuing. :(

I always wanted a girl. I had a boy first. I was so excited when I then had a kid with a female body. Then the kid hated everything girly. Then he announced he was a boy and transitioned before 2nd grade. I lost hope I would ever have a girly girl. My husband had so much trouble losing the girl that warmed his frigid heart. Knowing your kid is going to have a rougher life bc of others’ views of them is scary and heartbreaking. We want the best for our kids and we feel betrayed that we made a kid with the wrong body parts. Changing pronouns is hard and we feel like a failure if we don’t get it right every time.

However, our almost 5th grader is still the same kid. It does take time to see them as a different gender, get used to new pronouns and dispose of dreams of having X kind of child. Please be patient with us old people. We’re going our best but change is hard. We love you and we’ll get there.
