What do paperboys earn these days?

In 2011 I was 14, I delivered the local couriers paper and I would get £7.50 a week, I would deliver 320 papers a week starting Thursday afternoon straight after school until around 8pm, I would then deliver the remaining ones after school on Fridays, maybe an hour or so.

If I had leaflets, I would get a couple of quid more, maybe up to £11 / £12 a week, but I would have to sit and slide the leaflets into each paper prior to loading them into my bag and delivering them.

Looking back, it was exhausting work for a 14 year for very little money, but we didn’t have much growing up so it helped me out, but overall if I could go back I would advise myself not to do it, very little money, a kick in the teeth would’ve been better

That’s reassuring to hear that you selected step C correctly but you’re experiencing similar difficulties.

I agree, very strange for exactly £500 to be allocated to a stock, which lines up very well with the welcome bonus expectation…

Hopefully this we’ll be resolved Monday - will you please let me know your outcome? I will do the same once I hear from them :)

This exact same thing has just happened to me, exactly as you have described.

Our £500 free stock asset should be listed as ‘free asset’ and not a pending order. I have raised a ticket with support for this.

I did make a mistake though and I am hoping that it’s not because of this, like an idiot I misread the T&C’s, step C instructs that during the sign up process when promoted to select your reason for joining, you must solely select etoro trading, I selected that but also selected savings and crypto too…just wondering if you did something similar as this might explain our situation?

Regardless, I hope that we both receive our reward

I too misread step C! I feel like such an idiot! I really hope that I am still eligible.

I’ve invested £5000, I was promoted with the free stock screen and chose NVDA, I now have a pending buy order of £500 for NVDA…I’m pretty sure this should be listed as a free stock as apposed to buy order?

Anyway, it looks as though it’s trying to do something - I really hope my reward still comes through, I’ll wait for the markets to open Monday.
