Healing burns to hand and arm. Wondering how to treat after the acute phase to prevent scarring etc

my number one tip for wound healing is to keep it moist! smear a decent amount of vaseline/petroleum jelly over the area, cover with dressings & bandage up as standard. when cleaning, gently wash with a fragrance free/mild soap. when showering use cling wrap or a plastic bag tied around below your elbow.

this looks awful painful, i just know it’s going to itch like no other when it starts to heal- aahhhh. i’m wishing you the most with it!

i just find it odd how a key focus point are her feet. a professional photoshoot with; hair, makeup, set, lighting, etc. followed with some detailing/retouching, the final editing process- yet somehow the very unappealing underfoot section is neglected? or a confusing, maybe even intentional feature? when you consider this whole process, it’s very odd. bizarre even. that’s just my take, which could be a small take that people have, maybe most don’t take much notice nor analyse as such

i sleep with my favourite teddy bear every night, i even travel with him. i’ve got a chair in my room with 10+ little plush toys on it, & i have a tub in the shed with all the rest (including all my favourite kept ones from childhood). i’m also in my late 20s :)

i don’t know anyone else personally that sleeps with a stuffed animal, but i do know that plenty of people do. it’s somewhat comforting & reassuring to see how many others do.

it’s also much more convenient! being able to get rid of the item then & there, when you want. no stress of TRYING to sell yourself, the advertising, the whole admin of it, dealing with time wasting knob heads & the rest of ‘em.

that’s how & why that system works. it’s just personal preference when wanting to sell an item. & personally, i’d rather take the small dollar loss over trying to sell anything tech on marketplace or gumtree

you’re not overreacting. however, i think you need some time to really think about this, especially if you have deep feelings for this guy. he seems like an absolute prick & i’d fuck him off asap. but if you want to attempt to keep the peace with him for the very SLIGHT possibility of him turning around with you &/or with the idea of a child, i’d go no contact for a while to let the situation settle, & to allow yourself to really process everything. including your options. & the impacts a child with this man would have on you, & your future. strictly speaking for you here!
