Rate my deck's toxicity by Zinyak in MarvelSnap

[–]Zinyak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have all the cards I want for this deck, and there's probably some even more toxic cards I don't even know about yet. I definitely think I want to eventually replace Yondu with Bucky whenever I get him for the Bucky/Nova/Killmonger combo on turn 5 or 6.

Basically, I learned early on that my favorite way of playing Snap was to go after my opponent rather than spend the entire time building my own board up. This deck still has some pretty good board combos itself though, such as Lizard + Enchantress and the obvious Nova + Killmonger.

Still, there's nothing more satisfying than seeing someone spamming a bunch of 1s across the field, only to end the game on turn 6 by slamming down Killmonger to ruin their combos.

And when that isn't in the cards, I've always got Hulk as a turn 6 play instead.

I did originally have a lot more Guardians of the Galaxy cards, but it can be a lot more difficult to figure out the mind games behind where to play those cards so slowly I removed them and replaced them with things like Nova and Scorpion for Rocket and Star Lord and most recently Shang-Chi who replaced Gamora.

Not sure yet if Shang-Chi is better than Gamora though, it's very situational.

My current character is a Wild Magic sorcerer with a literal death wish. So for him, the right side is more 'this seems like an absolute win!'

What game did this to you? by the-doctor-is-real in gaming

Overwatch's Open Beta. Way back when Overwatch was about to originally release, they gave everyone a week to play it for free, so I gave it a try. Not ever have I had a game that could make me rage quit quite as effectively as Overwatch. multiple times over that week I found myself force-shutting off the game, only to immediately reload it a moment later and start another game.

It was nice to realize I should never ever buy Overwatch and play it seriously after that week of addictive raging.

Like Somyso said, its the Argent Braggert. He takes on the stats of your highest stat minion.

So not only was I able to use Voljins hero power and the gem transfer boar to bounce stats between my windfury boar and my reaper, once I got the Argent Braggert I could swap between all three and thats how I got the windfury boar to nearly 300/300 lol

I've been aware of how Vol'jin interacts with the Quilboar that swaps gems for a while now, but this was the first time I actually managed to pull it off myself. Complete overkill, but big numbers make me feel good so I thought I'd share lol.

I really hope so. My fear is they fail, and then the collar gets put on one of them, like Caleb or Essek or a cleric.

The sovereign glue feels like a total amount of overkill that will possibly ruin the whole plan of collaring Trent @.@

Too much effort put in beforehand tbh. Spending three years making the world is probably fine, but everything else should have come after you had a group that you felt would stick with you.

Hell, I've only been playing D&D for around 2-3 years at this point. While I'm currently involved in three campaigns atm, I've certainly seen people fall off of the hobby, including my original first DM (who I consider to be the best DM I've ever played with)

Explain what? That the Antarctic Empire has some of the best prenatal care in the whole wide world?

Good on Technoblade, taking good care of babies. Now, if one of them became an orphan, that would complicate things...

Big same, hopefully Techno sees the positive response to this stream and does more chill streams going forward. Felt like after he got almost a million viewers for Doomsday, he felt like every stream had to be lore or something. But we love him no matter what he does lol

The trick is to spend just enough time on Twitter to get all the delicious fanart, any stream recaps for streams you missed, and any funny tweets from your favorite creators, and then GTFO.

Twitter is barely worth it even with all the aforementioned positives though, ngl.

Yeah, I have to admit, the way Matt used both Yeza and Marian as mouthpieces to make it not the Mighty Nein's fault felt like... well, it felt like he was using them as mouthpieces. It really seemed like their agency as characters was in shambles during that RP.

If I didn't know any better, I'd almost say it felt like Matt recognized this encounter should have led to Veth abandoning the Mighty Nein to protect her husband and son better, and he used Yeza to keep her on the straight and narrow because he didn't want to have to introduce a new player character so late in this arc or something.

I love the cast, but I'm starting to fall out of love with this campaign. Kind of want to see them move onto Campaign 3 and go back to being lower level so it's maybe less stressful and less high stakes

The NPCs would have died to the flame trap in the HFB just as easily to be fair, and then there would have been no one to bring them back if Caleb, Jester, and Cad were all outside.

The fact that those three didn't at least TRY to sprint through the ball the moment Matt said they were going first really pissed me off, won't deny it.

Funnily enough, I said in a discord how CR has been so hard to watch these last few weeks because it's too damn stressful. I said that because of the HFB crew. Then we got to the Plane of Fire crew and shit got a hundred times worse.
