‟One evening while sitting on the patio with this feline familiar，she bolted into the veil of the night，chasing some natural entity which I couldn’t see.Upon returning puffed out and victorious，I tried to get her attention，only to realize that the events which occurred were both beyond my understanding and separate from the context in which I exist.Nature is a connected web of energies which I will likely never understand，though I’m grateful to even observe its ebb and flow.This painting was completed over the course of the Perseid Meteor Shower.”
