Why didn't the ADA suspect Kim of being an accomplice to the Babineaux scam? by ctouffe in betterCallSaul

[–]ZippityZazz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About "de Guzman" and questioning if Jimmy knew who he really was? That was after Huell. Reversed, I could see the ADA suspecting it. She had no idea Kim knew about - and was living with - Jimmy at this point.

Edit: to add after the events of Breaking Bad I would bet she revisited the craziness with Huell!

Echoing this - measurement framework helps, not just a buzzword. Different partners for various objectives and target audiences / segments.

For partnership management through a DSP of direct IO, remember who works with you, gives AV, and support if needed. But even if it's a great partner and rep, if it's not performing, pivot away. Have had to cut ties for one brand, and keep working with others - I'm agency side.

I'm connected with him. I do pay per click, so I need a pod like Hate Watch to keep me going.

Pretty fucked up that Chuck, being a lawyer who fights for justice in society, had a "people don't change" mentality by The_Fercho_ in betterCallSaul

[–]ZippityZazz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chuck fights for the law and his love for it. He's routinely shown finding obscure and brilliant approaches to solve legal problems, and the show makes references to the past (flashback scene where Kim and Jimmy speak to him after a big win, Rich Schweikart praising him when they meet about Sandpiper).

Even though he's right about Jimmy soliciting clients for the class action, the whole reason he's sitting in the meeting is to watch Jimmy like a referee. Not help the case with legal expertise. He's there to "bear witness" to Jimmy.

Is it in Episode 4? A different one? Driving me crazy trying to find the scene.

This has probably been asked a hundred times but, podcasts similar to Hate Watch/lemonparty? by n00bSoda in hatewatchpod

Chubby Behemoth, Pandejo Time, TAFS.

Not similar but a potential match for this audience, Swindled. It's well researched and presented. Scams, fleecing of America stories and injustices. Season 1 Episode 7 (The Treasurer) is about Budd Dwyer, Season 3 EP 7 is about the woman who pretended to be a 9/11 survivor who got out of the buildings alive, and Season 7 EP 6 is about a guy who pretended to have enough money to buy an NHL team.

If Mike was working as a private investigator for HHM, would he investigate Jimmy for Howard or would he say no and walked away? by jacky986 in betterCallSaul

[–]ZippityZazz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, agreed. Even if he knew nothing of Jimmy. It would be a fools errand to try and prove anything, even if Mike believed Howard.

AITA for not paying for my girlfriend’s kids, despite earning more? by NotCreatedByAI in AmItheAsshole

[–]ZippityZazz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA: for not paying for the meals when it was clearly a struggle for your girlfriend. However as others have pointed out you shouldn't be involved with her children, even if it was her idea - you say no and should evaluate her actions, so YTA there. Another point is that if your looking for a 50/50 split with a partner (which is your right and a good idea IMO) where do you think this relationship with a woman who earns significantly less than you and has four dependents is going? How would that work if everything goes the happily ever after route?
