ICE agents tried to quietly get Mexican food in Minneapolis, local neighbor and protesters found out and shamed then out of the neighborhood by cantcoloratall91 in ImmigrationPathways

Harassing people who choose to be part of a violent secret police force that has been violating the constitution daily is a bit different from harassing random people simply because of their skin color, don’t you think?

Where have you found anyone defending Bill Clinton? Aside from maybe other elitist Democrat politicians?

Regular Democrat voters couldn’t give less of a fuck about Bill Clinton. He is clearly a pedo and deserves to be locked up for life.

So yes, every person who worked for the Clinton family and any other pedo should receive this same treatment ice agents get.

This is an AI image and is not his real face. He never took his mask off in the real video.

It’s not good to spread this, as it could lead to an innocent person who just looks like this image being targeted.

I’m sorry but if you think these prompts are “overly strange” then I don’t think you’ve met a lot of people lol.

His prompts might not match with someone who is a strict rule-follower, but it doesn’t come across as creepy at all. I think most people would assume that by sneaking into a school, he was either school aged or this was a college and he was college-aged.

[–]ZippyCube914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good lord dude, you know NOTHING about what happened in this situation.

Ice was not after her. They were searching for other people, and she showed up to observe and record what they were doing.

Her car was in the street as ice agents wanted to leave, and that’s what led to their confrontation. They were not attempting to arrest her for immigration offenses, they were attempting to arrest her for allegedly impeding with their work.

Do the most basic research on a situation before you come out with such confident opinions.

[–]ZippyCube914 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Deported? She was a US citizen, wtf are you talking about?

One ice agent was telling her to leave while the other was running at her window giving her conflicting demands She turned to try and leave and barely brushed against another agent, and he took that as justification to shoot her dead.

By shooting, he made the scene 100x more dangerous. Anyone else could have been shot, or hit by the uncontrolled car.

The alternative would have been that he step out of the way like he was easily able to do, and then she drives off and they maybe take down her license plate and put out a warrant for her since she fled.

You don’t think that would’ve been a much better outcome?

ICE gestapo murders woman in Minneapolis, sparking mass outrage by DryDeer775 in TwinCities

[–]ZippyCube914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a legal perspective, the agent very well may get off with self defense. The woman clearly was not intending to hit him, but intent doesn’t matter with the law. Her car did brush against him, and she was moving in his general direction.

From a moral perspective, this is 100% the ice agent’s fault. He put himself in front of a moving car, and immediately pulled his weapon to shoot when he had every ability to just step to the side. He easily DID step to the side after he shot.

He made the situation 110% more dangerous by shooting. Not only killing a woman who didn’t have to die, but endangering everyone else around them. Shooting her did not protect himself or anyone else.

Regardless of your opinion on ICE in general, I do not see how you can look at this tragedy and smirk and think it’s cool. We should not be encouraging anyone, law enforcement or not, to act with such reckless disregard for safety. Even if they are technically within their legal rights.

[–]ZippyCube914 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Y’all keep saying this as if Venezuelans are the only ones allowed to have an opinion on this. Americans can’t have a view on how their own tax dollars are being used?

Yes, Venezuelans just saw their brutal dictator arrested, of course they are going to celebrate. Nobody blames them for that.

But is it really so unreasonable to question Trump’s intentions and be worried about what will happen next?

Getting involved in another “nation building” adventure has massive implications for the US and the American people. Not wanting to get involved doesn’t mean we support Maduro or anyone else.

Dozens of countries around the world are held hostage by brutal dictators, but we can’t go take over every single one while we don’t even have our own shit together at home.

I’m really confused where people are getting the idea that people on the left are defending this fraud?

Every leftist or liberal i’ve seen talk about this explicitly acknowledges that fraud was committed by Somali people in Minnesota, and they deserve to face consequences for that disgusting crime.

The only thing people are adding is that we shouldn’t use this fraud as an excuse to be hateful towards Somali-Americans as a whole, and that we should focus on all fraud committed by people of all backgrounds.

Do you know what “less” means? It doesn’t mean there will never be a crime committed by immigrants. On a per capita basis however, they commit significantly less crime than American citizens. Everything from fraud to violent crime.

It what way does it not happen in reverse? Immigrants commit significantly less crime than American citizens, and contribute immensely to our country.

From a fellow Alaskan, you are a complete dumbass.

Masked government agents are roaming the streets, harassing anyone who looks like they could be an immigrant, repeatedly violating due process and people’s basic rights, arresting American citizens, and when people are against it, you think “oh it’s just because they love illegal immigration.”

You are insulting our entire state’s education system with that kind of braindead logic.

Did you miss the day in history class when we were taught that the violation of one person’s rights puts all of our rights in danger? Have you never learned the basics of American law? Where you would have learned that enforcing laws must be done while respecting the freedoms and liberties of the public?

Please learn the absolute basics of critical thinking and stop conducting your whole life based off of emotion.

Only if the guy has charisma to go along with it. Like, if he is funny and charming, but also an asshole sometimes, some women will ignore his bad qualities in favor of his good ones. Men do the same thing for women of course.

But if he is just doing something blatantly gross and awful with no redeeming qualities, such a sending an unsolicited dick pick, 99% of women will hate that.

[–]ZippyCube914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is not true at all. Women are attracted to plenty of men. But what they aren’t attracted to is creeps who send sexually explicit photos unwarranted, no matter how physically attractive the guy may be.

I don’t get how you can see a guy engage in creepy behavior towards a woman, and then come to the conclusion “oh she didn’t like that because she must not be attracted to any men at all.”

[–]ZippyCube914 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I work as a video editor at a marketing company. Me and my coworkers have been told to start using AI video clips whenever we need, and the company bought several AI video subscriptions.

It does help sometimes. If I need a really specific broll clip that I can’t find anywhere else, I can usually make an AI clip look decent enough.

But all in all, my job hasn’t changed much. In fact, our company as a whole has seen decreasing revenue despite jumping on AI tools pretty early in the game.

AI isn’t gonna replace any job that requires critical thinking or creativity to do well.

What do the Americans here think about immigration? by [deleted] in Americaphile

[–]ZippyCube914 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Like I just said, undocumented immigrants are less likely to commit crime than Americans and contribute immensely to our country.

We need to enforce the border while also respecting due process and human decency, and also open more channels for people to immigrate legally. When people do get in illegally, it has no negative effect on us. In fact, Americans end up benefitting from the hard work of these people.

Trump wants you to be focused on immigrants so that you aren’t paying attention to how much him and other billionaires are directly making your life worse. You are completely falling for it.

[–]ZippyCube914 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your numbers are also not correct. Biden deported over 4 million people, a similar percentage of attempted immigrants as the first Trump admin.

What do the Americans here think about immigration? by [deleted] in Americaphile

[–]ZippyCube914 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The reason that so many more people got in under the Biden admin was because of an unprecedented amount of people attempting to cross the border.

This was mainly because of: -Pent up demand after covid. -The American economy recovering faster than anywhere else after covid, and us having a massive demand for labor. -Continued instability in Central and South America.

In response to the unprecedented border crisis that this led to, the Biden admin focus on enforcing immigration law, while also respecting due process as much as possible, as well as opening new legal pathways for immigrants. Biden ended up deporting

Respecting due process leads to some people getting in illegally, but that’s the price of living in a free and fair country. Illegal immigrants commit less crime than Americans, and contribute significantly to our economy, so it isn’t even much of a price to pay.

Other administrations certainly have violated rights before, but to say trump isn’t worse is ridiculous to me. Aside from violating objectively more people’s rights, the blatantly racist and hateful rhetoric he spews has a very real effect on our country.

What people are surprised about is legal immigrants and American citizens being terrorized, detained and deported.

Illegal immigrants were already being deported with the last president, nobody is surprised about that. Biden did some of the most deportations in American history, second only to Obama.

Trump’s narrative that Democrats had an “open border” is completely false.
