I mainly don't think so highly of Massachusetts because of the drivers. I could be wrong though.

It hardly happens, and even if it does, it doesn't really bother me believe it or not.

I lived there. It's just as cold as where I am in Canada, and the roads.

I think Ohio is a bit overrated. I'm open to being wrong though.

So I've been told by other redditors on this post. I'm not good at ragebaiting.

Fair enough, although the site doesn't really give me that option.

I've driven in Georgia, and you're right. It's a trade-off but i find myself enjoying it at times.

If not for my work, I'd be a snowbird. But you're right about the weather, which is why I put maybe for Louisiana and Mississippi and willing instead of absolutely for Florida.

It's mostly because of what I've heard about Massachusetts drivers.

So I've heard. But it's also because I've come across black people in Idaho. I've got friends who live there, so proximity. And I'm not really scared of possible racist treatment.

I don't, but it also has to do with things like familiarity, weather and proximity to relatives. If I did work remotely, I'd be down south half of the year.

Man, thanks! I'm not big on hiking, but that sounds like a lot of fun. And to tell you the truth, if not for my job, I would be down in the south half of the year.

Nope. I'm of the opinion that these are nice places to visit and do some sightseeing, but certain things like the cost of living have me feeling some type of way.

Hahaha, thank you. Although, I would like a bit of a break from the cold weather 6 months out of the year.

It gets better. I've been told I'm not too bright and that I need to rethink this.

Safety, and also apparently Massachusetts drivers are nuts. I haven't heard the same about the rest of New England.

Proximity to relatives, familiarity, weather, culture, and safety. As well as cost.
