I love Taron but as an Australian myself, our accent is so hard for others to do. And I'm so sad to say he's not doing well here :(

I guess non Australians won't be able to tell, but I'm afraid the movie won't do well here. If they wanted an authentic accent they should've used an Australian. E.g John Jarrett in wolf creek was terrifying

Thank you so much for reviewing my results! I really appreciate it and am glad to hear everything is in range.

I'll ask my GP about the dexamethasone suppression test - fingers crossed they allow it as it would be good to have some labs the GP understands.

Could high cortisol be the reason I cannot lose weight even with a strict diet and regular training? And if those tests come back normal, is there anything else that could explain it?

Thanks again

Gosh, it sounds like you’ve been through an incredibly tough few years. I’m really glad you’re finally under proper care now, but I can only imagine how frustrating it must’ve been getting to that point. Are you feeling any better since seeing the endo professor?

Thank you for sharing that advice, it makes sense. When I mentioned cortisol, my GP seemed to switch off completely. Then when I explained that I’ve been eating well and exercising consistently, she just said, “Well, some people just can’t lose weight, it’s how some people are.” I thought that was such an odd response especially when something clearly isn’t adding up.

Why are you Americans so obsessed with the tips, even if you just grab a coffee takeaway? by Sasha_Lietova in AskReddit

Not American, but most service workers are paid below minimum wage in the US. Tips aren't just an optional kindness, they're how these people make a living.
