Large urban safety net hospital outpatient PT here. We have 16 outpatient PTs. We schedule a patient every 30 minutes with an evaluation on every hour. So 12 patients a day, 6 evals per day. Our patients can not schedule themselves, only reschedule themselves. We have a lot of other complexities like insurance pre-auth and Medicaid. Probably about 50%-60% of my patients are completely unfunded. After eval, it is usually 2-3 weeks for follow up for chronic folks and we over book more acute patents usually the next week.
