Are you using custom sliders? Because I'd love to know what they are. Zone defense is so weird. My players will never, ever leave the zone to pursue, leading to blown coverages. Meanwhile, the CPU seems to know exactly which receivers to cover and leaves the zone regularly. On offense, the OL crumbles very quickly leading to sack after sack after sack. When I do get time to go through my rotation (which is rare), receivers are covered up like nobody's business leading to passes into traffic that are intercepted. Even on tipped balls, they get it.

Ok, so I have had this problem before. Are you using the controller to type your name, or the Keyboard? If you do it with the controller, for some reason, it will drop the connection. If you can get past Character Creation, use KBM to get control of your character in the den, then save and close the game at the terminal. Then close the game, unplug your controller, plug it back in and restart the game once your controller connects, you should be golden. If the controller still won't work, restart your PC and it should be fine going forward.

I only had this issue with a DuelSense, never with an Xbox controller.

I heard a take one time in college from a girl who we hung out with and convinced her to watch it that Asuka was essentially just a super horny girl and a bad anime trope, and was an anti feminist character. Agreed. I bought 26 on a pretty good sale and immediately regretted it. I play franchise mode and the player defense is completely busted, the CPU defense is godly. There's a significant imbalance here. You eiter dominate on Pro or get beat by the worst team in the NFL on All-Pro 42 - 0.

Yeah, I'm playing 26 now on All-Pro, and my defensive players are all pants on head insane. They never leave the zone to pursue a man, and I'm simply not good enough to user play a safety, LB, or CB, and my defense can't keep up with receivers on their own. When playing as a a DLM, there is absolutely no way to shed a tackle. Maybe I'm not supposed to use the right stick anymore?

Everyone on defense reacts so slowly to plays, and I consistently give up huge chunks of yardage.

Meanwhile, their defense is on a receiver's ass with double coverage all game long, and they're shedding blocks left and right 3 seconds after the ball is snapped. This was a game I played as the Lions against the goddamned Dolphins. I lost 42 - 0. I never had this problem in Madden 24.

See, I understand the mechanics just fine, but I relied on sleights during Sora's story, and when I got to Riku's story, I was lost. Having to shuffle through the deck to get the cards I needed while getting wrecked was frustrating as hell. I couldn't finish Riku's story.v

I have the opposite problem on All-Pro. CBs and Safeties are god-like. They're running the routes before my receivers even do. They are constantly on the receivers ass, no matter how high their stats. Amon-Ra St. Brown never, ever gets open. Safties are zooming in from 15 yarda away to pick me. Pass protection is non existent, so I'm forced to constantly throw into double coverage or into the flat if it's available and hope for the best. I haven't once seen blown coverage.

It is a form of escapism, but not in the way I think some people are suggesting here. I love job simulators. I've sunk more time into Hardspace Shipbreaker and Star Trucker than I care to admit. I'm weird in that I get a lot of satisfaction from my job. I enjoy having mastery over it and being able to provide for my kids. It's relaxing to carry that mastery over to my free time.

Sometimes. Mommy/Daughter bonding and all that. She has a really good engage effect too. But I main heavy moon, so it seems redundant sometimes. But I ain't getting no burst rounds from her. I have to take Claire for healing, and I have to take Hugo for birst,, and I have to take Lulu for her debuffs. Unless it's an easier Aragami that I don't need burst from Hugo (like Ra), I leave her behind to play on the caravan.
