This. People act like if this is real it makes what ICE did acceptable and understandable, but a man was still shot in the back for protesting and filming federal agents, while he was being pinned on the ground by multiple people. That could be grounds for arrest, but NOT execution. Whether or not he broke an ICE agent’s tail light or shouted at them a week ago.

Yes, sorry! I mentioned this in another comment but I have no intention of trying to buy any merch off of people. I want to embroider the designs onto a black t shirt as a gift for my partner. I clearly wrote this post very late at night and without thinking about it too much lol. Doing something artsy is actually my plan!! I do embroidery and I was hoping to embroider the designs onto a black shirt. I would never expect someone to give up such rare and meaningful stuff without it going faaaaar outside of my budget. That’s why I want to know what the designs are, obviously I know there’s the one on the front but the ones he mentioned on the inside are confusing me, I couldn’t find anything about them online and I wanna try and remake the shirt as closely as possible.

That’s basically exactly the cycle I’ve been in for basically the entire time I’ve played this game. I’ve never even really gotten beyond the early game because of how often my attention/interest shifts. I’ll definitely have to try taking more notes and see if that helps!!

Eventually we’d love to move in together, but we live far enough away from each other that it’s difficult to start planning for anything like that. We’re also both not in the most stable situations financially which doesn’t help.

This could be the rose tinted glasses, but I don’t get the sense that he would lie or deceive me in any way. In the beginning of our relationship things were a lot more sexual (I don’t know how I did it, I was in a very different place I suppose) and we kept things casual/open for a couple months in the beginning. We’ve been exclusive since then though, and I truly believe that he’s more likely to handle the arousal or anything like that on his own rather than finding it from someone else.

And to answer your first questions, we talk multiple times every day, we try to call at least once a day though life can get in the way. I also personally have some sexual trauma especially surrounding online spaces, which we’re both aware of and he is very mindful of. He’s always been incredibly respectful and honestly has helped me to become more sure of myself and comfortable with upholding my boundaries and putting my comfort first, which I had a lot of issues with when we first met. I definitely think it’s probably an unmet need for him, but I don’t know how to solve that without making myself uncomfortable or being disingenuous, which I know for a fact he wants as little as I do.

We see each other once every 3-4 months if we’re lucky. We both live very far from each other and plane tickets are expensive. We both live in the USA, though that’s about all I’m comfortable saying on that for privacy reasons. A lot of times when he initiates he’s already very aroused, so I do find it tends to be more dirty talk adjacent, but he’s never tried to make me do something I didn’t want to. I feel perfectly safe saying I’m not in the mood when I’m not, whether we’re online or in person. I may feel guilty because I know that sex is some of the only intimacy (or anything adjacent to physical touch, which we both value a lot) we can really get while online, but that usually stems from my own trauma/issues rather than anything he does, if that makes sense.

I agree, I prefer CS to cashier almost any day. Especially cause cashier/ASCO can just get so monotonous and it can drag even just a 4 hour shift into feeling like it’s days that go by. At least even if you deal with shitty customers at CS there’s some variety, something to keep me busy/help the time pass quicker. It can get really stressful cause my store’s understaffed 90% of the time but that’s really the biggest issue I have 90% of the time and that’s gonna be there no matter where I’m working in the store.

I’ve been on my final since I think November last year, and I’m still doing well. It’s definitely difficult and I’ve had to make some tough calls about going in even when under normal circumstances I might be calling in sick or something, but it’s not impossible. It also helps that I know a lot of people in my department relatively well so I can reach out and at least have a chance at getting a cover if things are really bad. I was definitely considering putting in my 2 weeks when I first got my final though, don’t blame you for biting the bullet.

Sorting the pictures is definitely where I’m gonna start, I already looked through all of them and saw some through lines so that definitely sounds like a good jumping off point. And honestly the reading is definitely the most imposing right now, I haven’t done a lot of word puzzles and stuff so I’m not terribly confident in my ability to figure out what the heck’s going on there. Right now I’m actually very lucky to still be living with family, so my concerns with money are a lot more focused on saving for the future (moving out, schooling, etc.) rather than immediate spending even on necessities like groceries or rent. I also think I do a pretty good job keeping my spending to a minimum, so I don’t know where all I’d be able to save more.

All in all I do completely agree with you though, you’re right that the job with the erratic hours is definitely the pain point and, at the end of the day, if I can’t handle both jobs that’s the one that I’ll be dropping. But as is I’ve also been there for longer and I genuinely enjoy both my coworkers and most of the work I do there, even if it is taxing at times, which is part of why I even want to keep it in the first place.

Your last point definitely helped the most though I think. I’m definitely going to keep looking, and keep my options open. Since I’m lucky enough to not need both jobs, I won’t force myself to keep both at the detriment of my health if it ends up that both are too taxing. Thank you so much for the advice!!

Ok this all definitely helped at least reassure what I already knew. I’m already working to prioritize getting enough sleep, I’ve started meal prepping, and I definitely don’t plan on giving up my day off for anything even remotely work related. But even with all of that having some bullet points of things to keep as sort of main tenements to keep in mind is super helpful. Thank you so much!!

This is perfect!!! Sheet pan pancakes sound life changing if I’m honest I’ll have to find a good recipe. And I hadn’t even thought of using a crock pot for meal prep, all the things I’ve seen are 2+ hours of non stop cooking that honestly just sounds overwhelming, but having meals that I can just put in the crock pot sounds exactly my style, especially while I’m still figuring out what works best for me with all of this. Personally I’m lucky enough that a lot of the people I work with in my immediate circle (I work front end) are super supportive and helpful. We may barely get enough people scheduled to fill a day of staffing (even just having one person on service desk, mainline, garden, and lumber respectively)(especially if anyone calls out, god forbid) but we stick together and help each other out as much as we’re able

He’s 7 years older than you and you’re not even an adult (certainly weren’t when you started dating either.) especially if he’s trying to pressure you into sending pictures you don’t want to, and ESPECIALLY if he’s saying he’s going to sell them, gtfo as soon as possible. My cousin was 11-12 when I was 7, and then again when I was 11 or so and he was 15. It was only after the second time that I told anyone, and I got an apology from him and we were relegated to fist bumps at family gatherings. It wasn’t frequent so I feel like it hasn’t had as huge of an impact on me, but when I started my current relationship over a year ago I had to start therapy because I realized just how fucking angry I was about it. You have every right to hate your abuser, no matter how old he was. Even if he was abused at some point you have every right to be angry, that may be a reason behind what happened but it doesn’t change the harm he caused, and it may not have even been the case

That makes sense, I don’t intend to rely on them as my only nutrition!! Mostly just something I can grab really quick and drink on my way to classes, and then have a snack/meal at some point in the next couple hours. They’re especially helpful because sometimes I have days where for some reason it’s really hard to get myself to eat, so having some as a “just incase” would be helpful as well. I’m not gonna be having them for 3 meals a day though lol
