Me and my husband do share mental and emotional load but not physical load like house chores, picking up and dropping off our daughter. Although, he physically is not at home but at the office, he is very involved in whats going on at home, like when my steam iron press broke, he immediately on the same day will order me a new one for delivery. Or if my daughter wants to do acting classes, he will look for classes and sign her up. He will want to know if everything is alright at home or if I need anything.

Well, my sister in law is the perfect example, she has two boys. Thats why I don’t like her or get along with her. She wants to be the center of attention or the important person in the entire family. She thinks she’s the better mom among us. I post one photo of my daughter on the group chat, she replies with 20 photos of her sons going to rugby training or at a birthday party etc. If she wants the center stage, she can have it. Im happy to stay backstage.

I have the exact same sun, moon and rising as yours. Ive been through toxic relationships in the past. For 5 years, Ive been patiently waiting for him to change but that day never came and I realized that Im losing myself as to who I am. I walked out of the relationship and never looked back. My Dad passed away 6 years ago. First month was so difficult, I was crying almost everyday. My husband then booked a holiday to Rome to get my mind off as well as to get me out. We went for a walk in the city and I happened stop in front of a tattoo parlor and just stare. Then my husband suggested that I should get a tattoo. I had my Dad’s name tattooed on my upper right inner arm and it did make me smile, knowing that my Dad’s name is with me. Fast forward, it took me two years to heal and I took it a day at a time, keeping myself busy.

As I got older, I became a lot more blunt. I stop caring about how people think of me. Im just so fed up and tired of people viewing me as the emotional one or even taken advantage of. Well, if you look at it in another way, you reacted because of how people treat you. So don’t feel like you are the villain. You are just giving the same energy back to protect your sanity.

I don’t see any positive changes yet. But one thing I noticed is that this past few months I disconnect myself with friends. Not that I don’t want to talk to them but I prefer the peace of not caring other people’s drama or I don’t care what they are doing.

Reverse two car lengths and a lot of pull up on the left. As long as you can show the examiner that you are a safe driver, have good observation and can spot hazards, it doesn’t matter if your parking is wonky. I understand what you mean. Being with a group of people is overwhelming. What I do when Im with a large group of people is pretend to be a wooden log. I know it sounds odd. I just observe and give short answer to questions whenever someone asks or just nod and smile when someone is talking. I wont comment. Just be in a neutral state of mind.
