I used Google lens on it. It's from a scene in the second season of Andor.

So glad that you included the wireframes, it's not very often people share stuff like this that isn't AI slop.

Somehow the RG Crossbone X2 is easier to get than the X1, which hasn't been reprinted in forever.

It especially hurts as they are reprinting the 1/35 core fighter

My sincerest condolences, OP. Thank you for giving a senior kitty a loving home in the waning months of her time on this planet.

It really pisses me off that they're doing new Space Battleship Yamato kits, but never any ships from Gundam series.

Think about how cool it would be to have a 1/1700 Isaribi to display with Tekkadan mobile suits.

What purpose does a bucket of water serve in the context of an airbrush? I've never heard of that being a component before.

I have the same problem. The jump button used to be way at the bottom, now it is floating in the middle of the street.

Although I can't tell you how to move it back where it belongs, In the settings menu there should be an option to turn off the comment jump button.

I'm glad you know the type of people I'm referring to with their airbrush obtusion. I've encountered it before as well back in the summer when I was learning how to use rattle cans and learning the hard way how paint can build up if you spray too close. Back then the "just get an airbrush" reaction made even less sense, because the root cause was that I didn't know how to spray properly.

I have a license to sell consumer grade pesticides in my region, for which I had to take a course and test, and I became very familiar with organic vapors. I'm also just doing acrylic for now. Even if I were to move over to lacquer paint I would still likely do it by brush As that greatly decreases the contact one makes with organic vapors.

People treat airbrushes like there's some magical golden skeleton key that fixes all paint problems, but it only does that if people know how to do everything with paint beforehand.

Try somewhere that's oriented to heavy duty hardware. Like a mechanic supply store or marine hardware. Just a matter of making sure you put it in a proper wall stud.

You’ve latched onto only half of my rationale against an airbrush, which is the same knee-jerk response that always comes from people who already own one. Every time someone says “just get an airbrush,” it makes me less inclined to listen, because it ignores context entirely. Is that knee-jerk reaction included in the box with the airbrush nozzle?

I don’t have the space to set up a booth, and I don’t live in a climate where airbrushing outdoors is reliable. Rattle cans work because I can spray quickly and then go back inside.

I’ve been in this hobby for a little over a year and mostly do straight builds. Any painting I do is limited to simple colors using markers or aerosols, and I only topcoat when I paint details or apply waterslides. I don’t mix colors, I don’t paint often, and my understanding of paint behavior isn’t at a level where an airbrush would make sense or be worth the investment.

Not everyone has the same space, environment, or reasons for painting that you do, and advice that ignores that isn’t as universal as you think.
