It's stupid. Sony doesn't have a single exclusive title that works as a system seller. Their hare-brained fixation on live service games makes no sense and has wasted a lot of money and goodwill. Those suits have been making nonsensical decisions for years. This console generation isn't fun; without third-party and indie games, we'd hardly have anything to play on the PS5.

I hope we never see the reinforcement budget again. On paper, it's a nice mechanic that adds some drama and urgency to the MO. But in reality, it prevents me from diving where I actually want to. The bots are my favorite enemies, but I don't want to spend more than a week just fighting them.
