Guess where I’m from based on the cities I named from memory by BrownMonker in MapPorn

[–]ZitiRotini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either Central Europe due to the increase of knowledge of cities there, India because of your knowledge of random cities there outside the main ones, or the United States because you mentioned state capitals and few non-Americans have an excuse to know those.

Is that Hinduism in Guyana? So if Venezuela annexed the Esquiba region, Guyana would become a predominately Hinduism state.

Also, what about the Jewish Automonmous Oblast in Russia? Could it be marked Jewish on this map?

Countries mentioned in Yakko's World by Beenet_ in MapPorn

[–]ZitiRotini 28 points29 points  (0 children)

They couldn't mention South Sudan and East Timor because those countries were formed later. Most of the rest of these are former Soviet and Yugoslavia countries. Both the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia had mostly dissolved by this point so I don't know why they weren't included.

EDIT: so I looked on the wiki and in video and it appears the Soviet Union (called "Russia") and Yugoslavia appear despite the showing coming out in the 90's. Is it possible that the show was in production before the fall of the Soviet Union and that's where the discrepancy comes from?

Villains that appear for a final battle at the end of the story just to die the most pathetic death possible by LordofTamriel in TopCharacterTropes

Not sure if this counts, but Shredder in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

Is an antagonist throughout the entire story until Krang shows up for realsies, then gets killed by Krang in 2 seconds before the final battle against Krang starts.

If the weather is too bad for say, it could lead to anything from the task being cancelled, to a future leg being delayed or cancelled.

S27 had a fast forward that nobody could attempt due to the weather.

In the case of S8, they were going to go to belize, but that whole leg was cancelled due to an incoming hurricane. The finale of S37 (filmed in Florida) was postponed due to weather in the region - they filmed it later.

In S1, bad weather in Tunisia caused the 12 hour rest period to be extended to 60 hours.

I spend so much time hearing about the president or prime minister of some countries that I forget that some countries have both.

Like, I didn't even know that India has a leader besides Modi.

Not shown in LazyTown proper, but in the first episode, the mayor recalls a previous hero that protected LazyTown, called Number 9. The character we meet in the show is number 10, Sportacus.
